Dan Kubin recommends to use the rubber band on the tip of the armature bar on the sidewinder to negate the tension of the cartridge, that way you won’t need that kick and it definitely will put much less stress on the motor.
I exclusively use these cartridges, I love the thin tips and how much it holds ink without flooding on the skin. The only downfall find with them is they are hard to wash out quickly between colours, I also find it struggles to push at the lowest volt of my bishop wands.
da vinci v2/kwadron/defender or other brand, what is the best in 1rl, 3rl and se magnum 7-11 in your opinion? Really wanna try the da vinci, but scared to buy a full pack)
I have a question, I just started tattooing and until now I felt a big difference between a good needle and a cheap one, would you recommend this brand to a beginner? I would like to know your answer 🙏🏼 Greetings from Argentina!🙌🏼
@@TattooShopTalk I just ordered a box of Emalla 17 curved mag 10 gauge medium taper to use for a try colour packing with them as a few popular UA-cam artist use this configuration in other brands and swear that its less trauma and the saturation is good . I hope theyre ok , would you recommend a good cartridge for me considering im having issues with solid colour saturation. I will buy anything . I have Kwadron Needle on bar in few configurations theyre very nice and im noticing a difference with my straight black shading only few uses but still have colour saturation issues using them , I got all long tapers 12 gauge from Kwadron tho that's all that I could find ... any tips would be great thank you...(ill just add this I only tattoo my own body ive got heaps of my own work on me I like it and I want more, I tattoo 3 times a week I just want to achieve decent work of my own) cheers from Australia
Its a low Budget Produkt.some are good but some one had sharp edges and outside where the needle come out.its not a cheyenne cardridges with fine Quality at the same level.
You are comparing most expensive product on market to a very budget one. Nothing have convinced me so far that Cheyenne is good for the money - they are good while too expensive for what they are. Every time I give them a try I only think about money I wasted - that's my personal experience
I completely forgot to mention that ink flow is great and they hold ink in well and you don't have so much of that so called flooding situation

Yes to compensate tension of membrane and help motor. Thanks for input
Love these needles especially tight round liners.

Have you tried the mast pro cartridges? How do they compare to these? They are both dragonhawk but i don't know what's the difference.
Have not tried them. I doubt that there's bigger difference than visual
