Rwanda is the cleanest country in the World and Kigali the cleanest City. Keep showing us more of Rwanda. They also have the mountain gorillas. I love watching videos of this country, the cleanliness is mind blowing.
People need to be motivated into doing something. To start cleaning up Gambia begin locally in your neighborhood, you can compensate the people with something, maybe a party or some kind of activity that the community will enjoy. Word will spread and other communities will start doing the same.
Orwellian is the term that comes to mind seeing those speeding cameras. If we had those in u.s. oh boy people would not accept that kind of government control.
Arbadjie it only takes one person to start a movement. You can get people involved in Gambia into planting trees also petition your government to force its citizens to clean the streets, that is what the Rwandan government has done.
We started last year but due to lack of commitment from our side, we paused but we will definitely resume the exercise when back home InshaAllah. Thanks for the motivation.
As a Gambian residing in Europe, this video shows how we Gambian are behind with almost everything. Rwanda have sufferd a brutal civilian war where about 1 million people were killed, they manage and put their differences aside and reconcile, and then they worked together to move forward. Look at the result today. The streets are clean and clear, the vendors are just not everywhere undisciplined selling and littering dirt’s everywhere. Their government provides garbage bins on the street walks so that people can deposed their garbage. I have no idea what & where our Gambian leaders are, they sit at National Assembly talking about nothing significant. Look at the newly OIC construction road in Gambia, people already making a huge mess under the fly over, there is dirt all over & vendors selling everywhere without being called upon by the government and the police. I am so disgusted by our own people and the government. 3 things affecting Gambia are: ILLITERACY, DISCIPLINE & NOT BEING CIVILISED. I hope this video reach out to the Gambian leaders and I REALLY hope that you read my message. Nice Gambia good job. 👍🏿🙏🏿
Stop it, my dear being negative about Gambia n referring to your country as backward (you said Gambia is behind). Am surprised by your argument, it makes me sick and disappointed in you. We go to places to meet people not tall buildings or clean streets. Have you met a person from Rwanda? Am not biased but people from Rwanda are not hospitable people. Visit USA n you will find very clean cities with nice tall buildings but no people staying there. Why? Because the people who are there are drug addicts n robbers etc. So please don't lecture us about clean streets of Rwanda. If I wanted to visit a clean beautiful city I would not go to Rwanda rather I would go to London
Are you ready to pay $2 per household and $15 per SME and do community work once every month to clean Gambia? All require to change the mind, patriotism and being accountable of country vision, socioeconomic and environm protectio strategies
THIS place is absolutely absolutely clean Gambia is the most dirty country within west Africa seriously that's the hard fact because everything is politicised very very sad country
You guys keep it up, that’s the way forward travelling around the globe 🌎
Thanks
