Thank you very much for the lesson! It is very useful to me.
I am writing a CV to apply for a teaching position in a foreign language center. I look forward to receiving feedback from you. Thank you in advance! 🙂
    1. How to write a personal profile
Over the last three years, I have upgraded my teaching practice by working in an English-speaking environment and teaching mixed-ability classes. I hope to build on my prior experience and make meaningful contributions by working as an English teacher in your company.
    2. How to write about your employment history
English teacher, Green Galaxy Language Center, June 2017 to present.
    Main responsibilities:
-Teaching students with different age groups.
-Teaching remedial classes to weaker students before the lesson.
-Teaching Cambridge English exams to both young learners and school-age children.
-Preparing lesson plans and teaching tools.
-Monitoring students' progress with regular tests and providing them with feedback.
-Writing students' monthly reports and submitting them to the course consultants.
    3. How to write about your education
Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, 2013 to 2017, BSc in English with a good degree classification.
Modules studied by the British Council: Teaching for success Understanding child protection, Understanding pronunciation, Understanding methods and approaches in ELT, Engaging with pronunciation-techniques and activities, ...
    4. Writing about skills and hobbies
    Familiar with: MS Office
    Languages spoken: English, French.
Hobbies and interests: reading books, watching educational videos and TED talks on UA-cam, and doing English translation challenges.
I would like to ask you a question: Should I add a photo of myself and social media links to my CV? Thanks a lot! 🙂

    • @Oxfordonlineenglish1
      @Oxfordonlineenglish1  4 роки тому

Thanks for watching! I can give you a few points, and if you'd like more feedback feel free to chat with a teacher.
      1) 'Teaching students in different age groups', not, 'with'.
      2) Can you be more specific about the 'good degree classification'?
      3) 'Modules studied from the British Council' not, 'by'.
It depends on where you're applying - check with the common practices in your area about using a photo. For links, most people add their LinkedIn link, along with general contact information. If you feel your other social media links portray you well professionally, you can add those as well.
      Hope this helps you!

@@Oxfordonlineenglish1 Thank you very much for the constructive feedback! 😃
I studied in a public university in Vietnam where graduates are classified according to the number of credits required. A student's class of degree is based on the four-point grading scale as follows:
      1. The cumulative grade point average is from 3.6 to 4.0 - Excellent
      2. The cumulative grade point average is from 3.2 to 3.59 - Very good
      3. The cumulative grade point average is from 2.5 to 3.19 - Good
      4. The cumulative grade point average is from 2.0 to 2.49 - Ordinary
I hope this clarifies your question!
" If you'd like to get more feedback, feel free to chat with a teacher." "You mean I first take online courses on your website and then have a chat with your online teachers?"
I'd be glad if you'd let me know if I made any mistake in my second comment. Much appreciated!
I look forward to your reply. Once again, thank you very much! 😃

Thank you Sir/Ma'am, for your amazing videos. Please clear my doubt as to this sentence i read in a newspaper. It reads as....
Perhaps, the ruler himself also COULD NOT HAVE HAD SEEN the future valour, achievement and foresight of his own self.
Please tell are those capitalised words grammatically correct? What the HAD is working as in this sentence? What does it mean? I am confused. I want to know how those two third forms of verb are used together in the sentence? shouldnt it have been written as Could Not Have Seen instead of Could Not Have Had Seen?
