wow, thank you for providing a good explanation, I am a flight dispatcher student, I want to ask, for example, if a flight dispatcher works from 8 to 15, then rests for only 1 hour from 15 to 16, then continues working from 16 to 24. Is that allowed? Thank You

No, that would not be allowed. The dispatcher in your example worked 7 hours, then had a 1 hour break, but then goes on to work 8 more hours. The one hour break is not long enough to be a rest period according to the regulations. This dispatcher was scheduled for too much work to be legal.

@@LauraLaster747 Thank you for the answer ma'am, so if a flight dispatcher works less than 8 hours, for example 6 hours, what is the minimum rest time allowed according to regulations?

@@LauraLaster747 Then I also want to ask, if the flight dispatcher works from 8 to 11 then (3 hours), then takes a break from 11 to 13 (3 hours), then works again from 13 to 21 (8 hours), so in total 11 hours of work in one day but with a break between working hours of 2 hours. is that allowed?

Review the regulations to see that there is no minimum rest unless the dispatcher is scheduled for more than 10 hours in a 24 hour period.

Please review my previous answer. This scenario has the dispatcher scheduled for more than 10 hours in a 24 hour period, so they would have to have an 8 hour intervening rest period.
