This has a very early Dave Murray feel big time with those trills. I never gave Helloween a good listen, and album recommendations to start with?

You can try Keeper of the Seven Keys I and II, these ones are masterpieces. Pink Bubbles Go Ape is also one of my favorites, but I know many people don't like it as it sounds very different than Keepers albums (and also Kai Hansen, the main founder of the band, has left before this one).

Yes!! Any plans on doing more power metal solos, like Blind Guardian or Stratovarius?
Don't expect too much. I'm not used to play power metal and I probably don't have the skill for that, even if I like a lot Stratovarius. And I'm not that familiar with Blind Guardian or Kaamelot.
@@StephLeGratteux Yeah power metal is a different beast, but if anyone is going to play it well, it’s definitely you!
@@StephLeGratteux definitely recommend blind guardian. Their musicianship is beyond incredible. Hope to see it on the channel one day but if not no worries, the style of power they play is just a different animal

I was in 88 in Budapest on Helloween (same year as my first Tallica gig). The fokin police hit us as Hell. And we have become a big dose of gas spray - just for fun.
Socialist government hated the freedom of metal music.

You're almost right, it's Keeper II 😁 But anyway, both albums are huge classics. Walls of Jericho has a lot of great material too (How Many Tears might be Helloween best song) but I don't like it as much because of Kai Hansen's voice (I'm a big fan of Kiske btw, the guy is an alien!)
I wish I could have seen them in 1988 but I'm still very glad I've seen the Pumpkins United a couple of years ago (shame that Kiske didn't sing more songs though, and Deris sang so many lol). I've also seen Helloween with Deris about 10 years ago, and Kiske with Unisonic and Avantasia.
