The oil desapears. All this jobs was followed by insulation and Polarization index tests. Cemig is one of the best electrical utilities company in the world.

In fact the oil is transformed in a solid compound, like dry grease, and goes to the floor, becoming easy to remove by brushes or aspirator. The objective is to remove the oil, or other contaminant, from the coils and electrical ative parts.
@Dougyelnats, I also wonder where the dirt goes after being blasted. The oil slides on the rotor top and bottom, driven by the centrifugal force from the bearings to the stator winding connections. I have never heard for a hydrogen filled hydrogenerator. Only for hydrogen filled turbogenerators.
Try to do this!!!!! It´s imposible to use a sandblaster machine as a Dry Ice Blsating Machine. If you know about this equipment, you should know that the contamination reggarding this generator is not by carbon dust from brushes. It´s a brushless generator. KKKKKKKKK

Amazing stuff and a BIG generator. Thank you, Sir!The blasting nsure works without bothering the important stuff!

Good job Sir. Does SINCRON operates in other countries besides Brazil?

That oil has to go somewhere... if its not actively removed, its SOMEWHERE in that assembly..
XFolf
.....
is that oil film being blasted ? if so what happens to the blasted material ? I thought the stator was in an Hydrogen atmoshere .
Pioneer my ass!
