A few of you have asked me to do a tour of my art studio. Well, today is the day. I didn't do a major clean up for the tour. I cleaned up my room the same way I would before starting a new project. I didn't even dust for you. lol Enjoy :-)
First off before I forget your dogs are beautiful. I absolutely adore/love your room. It is so cute the way you fixed it up. There is so much eye candy going on in there. Love all the art either on shelves, walls, dolls, dress forms. Just so freaking gorgeous. TFS the tour. Kiss those beautiful dogs for me.

Just love a well-loved, well-used, projects en progress, messy with creativity studio! So inspiring to see a “real” studio and not a totally curated, antiseptic, magazine center-fold perfect space. You rock!

What a cool space❣️. I love the idea of having several work stations like this. But my room is too small & can squeeze in only 2. This is a pretty & colorful “hideout”❣️❣️💚💜💜💚

Laurie I had lost track of you for quite awhile, but this morning one of your videos popped up on my feed, so I have been watching some of your videos to catch up and see what you have been doing. A also thought of you two days ago when I was collaging the front of a journal and found one of your little paper and button flower embellishments which I put on the cover. It seems I was supposed to “find” you again. I recently had to downsize and move into a much smaller place so had to part with about half of my art room supplies. I sold and gave away boxes and boxes of magazines, books, paper pads, acrylic paints and so much more! My new art room is STILL packed with stuff! This video was fun to watch, to sort of catch up. I LOVE your dog. Anyway, so good to find you again!
Hiiiiiiiii Karen :-) So nice to see you. I always wonder where people go when I don't see them posting anymore. But in fairness, I was not on YT for two years. I have actually thought of you too. I have some tape pieces on a corner of my main desk. 😉 and My studio room (and everything in it) is full of paint splatters too. 😃🙃

Hi Laurie! What a wonderfully cozy room to create in. Love all the antique touches (totally the opposite of my craft room). Your dogs are SO cute! I hope you're going to leave the couch in there for them to sleep on while you create. TFS 💕

I love your room! And the old and antique stuff that I love love! I have a bowl in my cabinet that was my Grandmother’s. I won’t let anyone touch it. I might just find a place for it in my craft room.

Oh my Laurie, I love your room. I have a small room, with a bed and TV in it, but I still have room to put my things to work on. I just love all your tags, and paintings. They are so colorful, and I love color. Your dog matches your couch colors, he is so cute, and just so happy to take a rest on the couch. Thank you so much for the studio tour, it was so nice to see, and gives me so much inspiration.

Thanks Evelyn :-) This set up is different from a few years ago although still some similarities but just the few changes I made took me forever to get used to where I put things and now I'll have to go through it all over again but it's fun. :-)
Since moving, i keep moving my desk and tables around. Jusr cant seem to find the right system. Your room tour has given me so new ideas im sure my family is just going to love me to change it again. I thought i had given a lot away 3 years ago but clearly need to go through more items to donate. Its such a lovely room and lots of inspiration. TY for sharing 💓. Hope you are well.

@@BlackbearyForest getting ready for back surgery 8 and 9 next week. Im becoming a pro at this. LoL good news is my son will be stationed back in VA next week. So i sfhall recover by supervising my art room again, lol. I still have boxes to unpack. But theres no hurry , since i need to finish getting the room painted and put together right. Now i want it done asap lol

What a treat to see where you create all your beautiful things. I hope to have a room similar to yours with things I love soon. I have my grandmother's dress form. She made a living as a seamstress in NYC. I have dressed it and added a jean vest with my collection of jewelry pins. I am curious do you sell your work or just enjoy making things?

Thank you Maggie :-) I have two LED light fixtures. Each light fixture has several little LEDs in them. They have a knob to turn the brightness up and down. At full bright they should be running at 35.2 Watts per light fixture. I always run them at full brightness when I am filming.

Awesome what are the lights you have on those tripods and on your desk?
Thank you Estee :-) They are LED lights that can be adjusted for brightness while I film. They are by Stuido Pro. The smaller lights on my desks are just Ott lights. I use those if I'm piddling around and not filming.

Also, I have heard about a Selfie Ring light. I have never used one and I don't know the name brands or anything but they can be used on a tripod stand or a phone holder. That might be something to look into as well.
