Girl, you are hilarious! You had me rolling! Thank you for this honest review, it kept it real funky with us. Appreciate ya! I bought it along with everyone else and it's just been sitting on the shelf collecting dust. I used the serum a few times but I couldn't really tell you if it did anything for my hair. We needed Mo to come through but this line just felt rushed.

Denise when you held up that clay mask scrubbed clean to the last drop, I bout fell out 😂😂 After a whole jar, it’s no reason your hair shouldn’t have been poppin. There’s clay masks out here that’s SO BOMB (Soultanicals, Chocolate Kurls) and would’ve had you right after just 2 oz.
And to be honest, this review shined some light on the Hawaiian ginger line too, cause that gel must’ve evaporated into the air. 👀👀👀 They can’t say you didn’t use the products right either...

Not half ass hair. Gurl I’m dead. I love your honest opinion. I got all the items but the shine mist. I’m glad I looked at your review because I was going to keep that split end therapy in my hair just thinking it wasn’t a rinse out product.
I believe you are able to leave it in your hair there are 2 sets of directions on the website I was using it as a split in therapy. Check out the website on how to use it if you want to keep it in your hair or it may be on the bottle

Oh ok welcome and thanks for watching 👍🏼 yes I usually use an entire 8oz when I deep condition so I knew the clay was a one and one as well 😂🤷🏻♀️ the Overnight mask wasn’t bad it softened my hair after the clay mask and it was somewhat moisturizing but the Mielle babassu dc is still my fav from them

Thanks for this honest and hilarious review. 😅 I bought 2 Clay Masks and a rice water. I will try the clay in my hair and on my body. My hair is low density so I should have a few chances using the clay. I'll use the hair milk for its rice water properties.
The only Mielle product I have used is the Overnight conditioner. I'll be trying the Honey and Pomegranate collection and their DCs soon. 🥰

Nice review. Hey do you just apply the end papers to all the rods before you start twisting? I really don’t know how to use them. And then do you reapply end papers after each use?
Thank you 😊 no I just apply them as I go cause the apply to the rod better when you hands are wet. That was the first time I tried that cause one of my subbies told me to try that cause I was telling them in my Lottabody video that I don’t like those prickly things on perm rods and they snag and break my hair. If the end papers are still on there next time I won’t apply a new one unless I have to
Those prickly things make ma hair frizzy. I’m better off using old school magnetic rollers. Ok I’ll try the end paper

I really like the Clay Mask. I definitely will repurchase. It leaves my hair softer and with light moisture. Not a fan of the moisture milk or shine mist.

I won the collection for the 100 moms and I love it.I can kinda understand why it’s not a whole wash day line. Rice water was used as a treatment in the natural hair community. But I used all my Mielle shampoo and I didn’t have her deep conditioners.Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for an honest review! How is it possible for a product laden with oils to detoxify your hair? I'm not going to go in on the uselessness of clay for the hair, but the clay in the masque is so far down the list of ingredients - the last 3-4, again useless, probably a pinch of kaolin and a pinch of illite. Rice water is protein and not all hair needs protein on a regular basis (especially low porosity hair) BUT because there is barely any of that in it either, you are probably OK if you use it once or twice BUT if you use all of the products in the line, over time you will have increased your use of those ingredients. Mielle tried it using natural hair care buzzwords of "clay" and "rice water" for folks to go buy it up. And another thing since I'm ranting, if it only costs $5.00...trust there are not many high quality commercial products that cost $5, yes that include Wetline gel (plastics), and Ecostyler. I ain't mad at folks getting coin either but just be careful out there. I'm sure when a lot of the natural hair care businesses started it truly was in the interest of addressing the needs of a relatively ignored population, and with healthier products, but now it really seems like a money grab.

@@DeniseAdore No doubt you had a different result with Aztec, because that is ALL clay lol. This right here is not. It's a pretty color and in a pretty jar but imma pass. However, I must tell you the clay in the long run is not a good product for your hair. A good clarifying shampoo every 4-8 weeks depending on how much oil based products and other products you put in your hair will be do just fine, if not better. Just because a product initially gives you the look your were going for doesn't mean it is good for you or your hair. Anyway I LOVE your personality. I watched this video twice because of it. I loved her products when it was Mielle Organics. When the name changed, so did the quality and the ingredients.

KpTheG it’s so good mix it with ACV with all plastic no metal and you can add your fav oil if you want...I’m gonna do a video on how I make mine cause I add a couple more things 😉

I really didn’t are for any of these products the only products I like from Mielle is the babassu dc, avocado hair milk and pomegranate & honey leave in

Cause that is a detoxifying clay mask not a deep conditioner just like when you use the Aztec clay mask you have to use a deep conditioner after they are meant to cleanse and detox your hair.

Do you drink a lot of water and take a daily multivitamin? Also try some protective styles for a while and still keep your hair moisturized while in the protective style.
