Ezlivin, Great question, no the clamping bolt creates plenty of clamping forces. The OEM splines from the clutch rod grab the clutch arm and works; as a result there will never be wear on the arm. This design has been working for a long time now.

On my 3ride the arm got loose. i feel the oem bolt is 3-4m too short. Shuld maby get a bit longer bolt included in the set? But I might not used enogh look tight compound
I don't see splines cut into the new arm. Does it ever slip out of adjustment or eventually wear the bore to the point of not holding tight enough?
