Some people arrive in your life never to stay, but they show you a way to that place, and that is something so unique and wonderful that makes your head spins, and no matter what else you do in your life, they leave a mark never to leave you and though they will disappoint you the waning timespan that changes your perspective, above all there is love and that love of that hopeful dance you cannot hide from.

I’m not sure how much of John Anderson’s catalog you know, but you should definitely react to “I wish I could have been there.” It tugs at the heart strings a little bit
today’s country radio won’t play anything that makes you think or feel,it would interfere with the drinking beer on the tailgate while watching girls in cutoff songs
Heck yeah! There's a song I'd love to see you two react to. You've probably seen it but it might blow Alexis' mind. Haha. It's very cool. "Reba , Linda Davis, Martina & Trisha - On My Own (LIVE '95)" @@flickeringboxofficial
You're right, the song is gold. But radio would never play it. The radio industry decided long ago to kiss the butts of the advertisers and now they TELL us what we'll hear. That's why most have never heard Kris Kristofferson's "This Old Road" or Rodney Crowell's "It Ain't Over Yet". Because RADIO says no. Screw radio.
Wow! Had no clue he was even doing anything musically anymore. That was top notch, Such a darn shame as to what's played on the radio and even more..What's not! Please do Wild and Blue! That is one of my favorites from John. Thanks for the great music and memories guys!
Burch, when you were talking about your Mom calling you her little piece of coal that reminded me a little of a Blake Shelton song that would be great to see on the channel. The song is "The Baby." I think both of you will like it.
Beautiful song and especially meaningful when you start getting older. You mentioned doing Straight Tequila Night next, which is a great song, but I would like to see you introduce Alexis to Seminole Wind with it's Florida influence and beautiful music.
when my wife first heard this,on sirius outlaw radio btw,she came home and told me she wanted this played at her funeral.Whole album front to back is pretty good
Im 66 and all my friends and nephews have gone before me, and even a grandson at 3 years old. I never thought id see so many younger people go before me. Makes me mad, sad and bitter to some extent.
🙏🏼 Thank you for reacting to a vocal, musical hero of mine. I'm a 2 time combat vet, and not much moves me to the heart... John's music will bring me to... almost, tears... It does. Don't tell anyone.
Not country, but the (2015) song by Don Henley, "Take a Picture of This," has the same sort of vibe, I believe. And it's also excellent, btw. Good stuff.
Every time I hear this song it’s like the first time. I remember growing up on Eastern Long Island listening to Seminole Wind from Country 9.25 from Hartford since we had no Island country stations. It gave me a love Florida that’s why I moved here in my 30’s.
He’s got so many songs worth checking out. I was a kid when is was first introduced to him with swinging. Seminole wind is still one of my favorites though.
listened to em all the time when kids.. throughout 20s.. havent really popped his cd in in awhile or heard on radio.. but damn his voice still sounds dam good .. like real good for being old crazy..
I don’t know if your take recommendations but you should check out the live performance of Chris Stapleton and Justin timberlake they sing Tennessee whiskey and drink you away you won’t regret it
You say John Anderson is old like he is in his 80's or something and he's only 68, He's only a year older than Billy Idol.....LOL. I don't know why I brought up Billy Idol....because he's still kicking butt at the age of 67.
Wow...Thanks for this one....What a song. This just joined 'Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes' and 'In Color' as my top nostalgia songs. Great content. You guys are one of my top music channels.
The Hollywood label/radio conglomerates took over the Nashville music industry in the late 2000's pushing the Nashville based management out. So many of the early 2000's and older country artists were forgotten by the industry. My cousin's band had a string of #1 songs in the 80's to early 90's when they broke up. They got back together in the early 2000's and did the casino/fair tours like most artists of that era. I listen mostly to Red Dirt/Texas Country now (living in Oklahoma, Texas and Colorado) and the early 2000's and older country. I hardly know any of the new Nashville artists anymore. I saw John Anderson 30 or so years ago when I lived in Dallas, he put on a great show.
The first time that I heard this song a couple of years sgo it gave me chills. John had so many great songs back in the day like Seminole Wind, I Just Came Home To Count The Memories, Black Sheep, Chicken Truck, Down In The Orange Grove, etc.. Can you do a reaction to the Darby Florida boys, The Bellamy Brothers, and the original version of their song Old Hippie for this old hippie ? 😁🙌✌️

There is no mistaking that voice. He may have aged some but he can still bring it. Awesome performer.
In light of the fact that these artists are the reason this genre exists, you'd think that country radio would respect them and give them airplay.
Agreed TCVA
It's truly sad how radio is so willing to discard artists as they get older. Country music in particular. Wonder why radio is a dying media?
today’s country radio won’t play anything that makes you think or feel,it would interfere with the drinking beer on the tailgate while watching girls in cutoff songs
Sadly most of the country today is way too poppy.
a few years ago ronnie milsap made a great album with a patriotic song and no one would play it.
Do more John Anderson videos it’s my favorite singer of all time I’m 45
John Anderson is classic country, what I mean by that is country music that stands the test of time. Love John.
HOLY CRAP, Y'ALL DID THIS! The Legendary John Anderson
The music industry is ageist.
We're Florida, that's our boy 😁

Sierra Ferrell actually has a cover of this song that was on the recent Tribute Album that came out for John Anderson
I'm from British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦 my daughter lives in Brandon Florida, we will be going there in Nov so hopefully it's not to hot .
John Anderson legend, this was a good song, but good music doesn't climb charts any longer
Yeah the only songs that climb the charts are those that go viral on tiktok or something.
Wow, I love John Anderson, I didn't know he had released anything recently. Have to get another CD apparently lol
Another great song never heard on the radio is Alan Jackson where have you gone
Beautiful Song Wow. John still sounds fantastic. ❤
Raised on John Anderson. My all time favorite "I just came home to count the memories." Pure poetry.
Sounds as good as ever.

played on alternative country stations or at least KHYI 95.3 The Range, but Hell, they got the most eclectic hour on radio with Brett Miller
Beautiful song and especially meaningful when you start getting older. You mentioned doing Straight Tequila Night next, which is a great song, but I would like to see you introduce Alexis to Seminole Wind with it's Florida influence and beautiful music.
The Country Music Association has shunned older Artist since going woke.
You should do straight and narrow by Sam Barber, it’s a great song.

Sierra Ferrell does a cover of this which sounds fantastic. Makes it her own.

Tried looking it up on wikipedia, but no dice... I wanted to see who played that rippin' lead guitar!

Too Country for Country redio !!!
Since you like Sierra Ferrel, you should check out her cover of this song.
Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Awesome song! I probably shouldn't have watched sitting at work like a boss with tears rolling down my cheeks.......
Got me too buck and I have watched it 100 times. Sorry I got ya bro 🤣
Love John Anderson!

Wow!❤❤❤
I don’t know if your take recommendations but you should check out the live performance of Chris Stapleton and Justin timberlake they sing Tennessee whiskey and drink you away you won’t regret it
I'm so glad I got to see these artists back in the day but the sad part is your also gonna see them pass as well. Apopka is proud I'm sure
Not a country fan at all but wow this is really good🤘
Wow! I love John Anderson. Hadn't heard this. Thank you. This was incredible.

She said older and I said yea, he is only maybe 10 years older than me. To a 23 year old...yea we are "older"😁😂
Oh and Billy still rocks too
This is SPECTACULAR, Loved JA since Swinging hit the scene. Thank you ❤️

I have a suggestion for a song BLACK LABEL SOCIETY - ANGEL OF MERCY

Thats because half of Nashville is WOKE now and trying to kill good music.

And I hadn't even warmed up yet 🤣

One of the most distinctive voices in county music. Just wish the music track was better and featured his voice better.
They don't make 'em like they use to. Country music today is not true country in my opinion. Just saying.....
Pop country sucks, that's why traditional stuff isn't played
so many older songs. Tracy Byrd, Clint Black, Gary Allan, Alan Jackson, and so many more of that era.
