After you finished the curling, your hair looked the way mine does in its natural state. I have trouble with frizz though, so I get keratin straightening done. Then it looks really flat, so I come on UA-cam to find ways of adding back some wave and volume:D
My only disappointment is that it doesn't sit flat when you need to lay it down for a minute. I worry about burning my countertop or other items as it's curved on the bottom and falls over leaving the twin barrels exposed and hot!

I agree, I wish it would sit flat.
i use a thick glass, drinking glass to slide mine into when getting my hair ready to curl
