Ed nailing it again. Even if I don’t have any interviews or certifications pending, I’m still going over a new video everytime there is one. Thank you Ed for being an amazing mentor/teacher/educator.
I have been following you for a very long time and I must confess you are one of the best few who makes the explanation of IT concepts very easy. I appreciate that a lot.
After years.. have come across someone who can explain concepts so well. Glad that I found this channel , when I m looking to reenter network engineer domain .. Thanks 🙂🙏
Cheers, Salil. Glad you found the channel. Thank you for the kind words. Could you do me a favor? Do you mind sharing this s series on Linked In, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, or any other social media you use? As an independent creator, that would be an _enormous_ help, and I would appreciate it _greatly_ .
holy crap I saw ur one very popular and amazing vid 4 yrs ago and really wished you had more.....4yrs later, I rediscovered u and am excited to see u kept producing.. will have to watch and catch up!
Super excited for this, OSPF is one of those IGPs that can really get very complex after adding new areas, link state advertisement types, and route redistribution. Looking forward to these series. Thank you so much!!
good stuff !! clear and simple to understand. Sometimes when Im at work and cant play videos, I use Ed's blog, which is just as clear and simple as his videos.
Thanks for making such a wonderful tutorial on OSPF you deserve an AWARD for such an amazing video with very clear explanation. Definitely the only organized and comprehensive OSPF tutorial I have came across. Pls keep making such amazing videos ... looking forward to a similar video on BGP and other topics
Thank you Ed. This is awesome! I love the content and the clear explaination. I am unable to view some of the videos in this "practical OSPF" playlist. Also i am unable to join your channel to view those videos. It is not showing up JOIN option.
Until I get the membership set up, the course is only available on Udemy. Since it was free, and I feel terrible putting it behind a paywall, I'm giving away 1000 free seats to ease the transition. Thanks@Practical Networking for this amazing content. Could you please help me show how to configure the Router IDs of an ABR ,where it might require two different router ids on same router for each areas.Do we need any multiple process id here
Hi Adil! Glad you enjoyed the series. Thank you for supporting the channel! Yes, for this set up you would need multiple process IDs on a single Router. What you're describing seems very atypical, so be weary that it might not be introducing more complexity than necessary.
Hi, well explained videos. It's easy to understand. Am really impressed. Please make videos for BGP protocol. And also make Video for EVPN-VxLAN technology
Hello Ed. Completely off topic question. Just wondering, can you do a deep dive on TCP series just like this. ASFAIK, there is not much content on YT when it comes to TCP, so it would be really nice have some content from your end on this one.
Thanks a lot for the work you put to share your knowledge, I more interested in How to advertise a default route and LSA filtering, not route filtering:-)
Hi Ed, you could possibly mention "TAN MAT / TANMAT": timers, area number, network, mtu, authentication, type (OSPF broadcast, ...) Seen here: ua-cam.com/video/t7uR-eHuUpg/v-deo.html Anyway: I still stand by the statement that your presentation is one of the best here on YT there is. Best regards, CC.
Yup, I'm 100% going to cover the items inside a hello packet and which have to match for an adjacency to form. That will be Lesson 3 =) Thanks for the kind words =)

Hello Ed. Completely off topic question. Just wondering, can you do a deep dive on TCP series just like this. ASFAIK, there is not much content on YT when it comes to TCP, so it would be really nice have some content from your end on this one.
TCP is on my list. Probably after the OSPF video series =)
Thanks Ed!
Thanks a lot for the work you put to share your knowledge, I more interested in How to advertise a default route and LSA filtering, not route filtering:-)
We're 100% going to cover that, but it won't be in the initial release of videos. Probably something in the Less 7/8+ time frame. =)
