- In this video, we cover how to take multispectral drone imagery and easily convert them into realistic, true-color images:
0:11 Inputs
2:52 Raster/Miscellaneous/Merge
3:01 Load images
3:28 Check box to place in separate bands
4:14 Change bands 1 and 3 in layer properties
If you find these methods useful, please consider citing our recent paper in the journal Remote Sensing:

Hi Travis, Good day. That's a handy tutorial, thank you so much. Making a video for this "Visible Spectrum UAV Imageries for Tree Quantification in an Urban Setting" will be very helpful for me. I am a novice in this field. Take care.
thanks very much for the comprehensive tutorial!
Thanks for the imput!
Brilliant
Hey, what if i want to create a RGB of individual multispectral images captured from the drone, can it be done?
Great!
Travis how we can analysis NDVI with drone image ? Because drone image just have 3 band not have Nir..Thanks
Hi Jhon, You're right, you will need a multispectral camera that can capture the NIR band. Most typical drone cameras won't have this, it is a specialized camera. There are alternatives to NDVI though if you don't have a multispectral camera. See this full video series, especially parts 1,2, and 3, for more info!

thanks for the field..... hey sir can you share the pictures that you used in this video to generate the ortomosaic? i am working in a project of canopy heigh model and i will use a software cloudcompare to try, but i will need a crop picturies to process in my pix4D software.... so? can you share this picturies please?
Hi Radamés, thanks for asking. Sharing these images might be a bit tricky, but Pix4D has several example image sets that you might be able to use here:

Do you think those would work for you? Best,
Travis
I know the sample data from pix4D do not work for the investigation that i am working..... If you cant to share your data no problem sir, I fully understand.. thanks so much for your time answering to me..... and please keep doing videos are so interesting the subjects.... have a nice day
