Do you do anything to prevent the columnar aspens from sending up suckers. I want to plant some, they are such beautiful trees.

Those suckers are a maintenance chore for sure! I just keep severing the roots below ground with a shovel.

I cut the suckers & use Sucker Punch on the cuts.
