    Water inside a black bowl or cauldron is also good for scrying.

      Really I actually never heard of those tactics before, I always thought only using a mirror or a crystal ball are better options for scrying.

    • @TheBusyHoneyBee
      @TheBusyHoneyBee 8 місяців тому

      @@lenninmontiel4539 you can scry on the flame of a candle, on the flame of a fireplace, on the fire of a bonfire, on the night Sky, on the day Sky, on the waters of any body of water, anything that you could enter in a trance state, because you are not seeing with your eyes, you are seeing with "your third eye" or "eyes of your soul" or "the eyes of spirit".

      @@lenninmontiel4539There are so many things to use for scrying! Hot wax in water, smoke, creamer in coffee!, clouds, tree bark...the list goes on! The perception of what is best in in the belief of the practitioner!

    you can also just put a piece of black paper in the frame to get a similar effect, then if you’re in the broom closet you can pop a normal photo in the frame when you aren’t using it and no one will suspect a thing !

    I made a scrying mirror a while ago, but I've only used it once. Mostly cause I was scared to, but I really wanted to develop my psychic abilities
    It took a while to still my mind, but I eventually saw a heart then a butterfly and a heart again

    I finally did it! Thanks to your easy directions, it took no time at all. I decided to keep it simple and not adorn mine with any symbols, crystals, etc as I know that I am not that artistically inclined. Felix Unger said decades ago, "Simple. But, it says it." So, my philosophy is to keep it simple and quit while I'm ahead. Lol I just love my do-it-yourself scrying mirror and can't wait to use it. Again, many thanks & brightest blessings. Be Well, Alice R.

      Hearth meant to ask you, can you explain or do you have a video of what you exactly do over the mugwort? I see that you make some kind of motion with your hands. Wow! I know what I’m gonna buy tomorrow! 😊 I was looking forward for this video since I saw the one you did about mirrors!!
    I’m not that good on crafts, but I heard that it can be good to sand the wood before painting it to help the paint stick. So I’m leaving that info here in case it’s helpful for others.
    I’d love watching more craft videos if you’d be inclined to share them. There has not been a video I didn’t liked.

    You can also use really cool old vintage mirrors and then use paint remover chemicals to get the metal coating off (do this outside), keep in mind very old mirrors used to use led so be careful. Then I used a combination of powdered charcoal and UV resin, I do layers and layers of this with each layer only having a sprinkle of charcoal. This effect gives the mirror a really cool depth effect and it plays with the light in the craziest ways. Have fun and be creative/safe!

    Really enjoyed this video. Searching for a vid on how to do this and no title seemed witchy enough to draw me in. But yours did. Thought at first I'd just to it for Halloween decor but got to thinking, this is a powerful tool for your arsenal.
    OK, I'm 66, in the States, and I use Runes, specifically the Elder Futhark. But I'm not new by a long shot. I began my spiritual journey into the "Arts" at 33, circa early 90's. I did Wicca and Celtic for over a year before I found an Asatru kindred in Lexington, KY. I left Asatru after about 10 or 12 years because they focused on only two of the nine worlds inside the world tree, Yggdrasil. I felt that was totally out of balance, and I began my search for, and found Hedenskap, the REAL religion of the ancient Norse and Scandinavia.
    Anyway, thanks for doing this, and I I look forward to many more from your channel.

    Most cellphones when not on are black mirrors. Make a cleaning solution with mugwort and a microfiber cloth to clean the screen very nicely when you want to use it that way. Super useful for those in the broom closet and those who aren't sure if they want to invest in something more. It's less effective if the screen is cracked though. 🖤❤

    Your mirror came out very well, and the Theban lettering looks just perfect. More tutorials of arts and crafts would be great. One of mine, that has been on the back burner for WAY too long, is making a primitive style “cauldron” out of a coconut shell, and fancy it up with some carving and/or some paints and dyes. Hi, I think It would be great if you did a series on different types of Fae and their characteristics. There are like so many types of fae, their personalities, their connections to witchcraft and what to do or not to do when interacting with them. Because people should know not to mess with Fae specifically the ones like Red Caps.

    I made sure to add a peice of black paper in the picture part to make sure the metal bits doesn't scratch off the paint. I used a divination oil on the sides bc i dont have mugwort and I put an incantation in the back piece then i got a pencil and wrote (in the worst cursive ever) my intention. The pencil idea was really cool bc if i want to talk to a specific Spirit I could write that intention on the back of the frame
