Poor dad. Those girls are mean to him. I'm so happy he is still alive. 💓 he might just be a good babysitter. Get some chill pills for the girls 😂I'm glad you share the bad as well as yhe good. People need both sides. Hugs to you and Cat❤❤
Hey y'all, I feel bad for Dad. Nature is not always pretty or nice. We never know how animals that have been together for some time will react to any changes or new events and conditions. It is good they are separated for now. Do you think they will come around whenever the maternal instincts kick in again? I always feel so bad for the folks that film the youtube videos when their situations become difficult for what ever reason. I am always so grateful and thankful for all the videos that y'all make. I do see and understand the extra effort it takes and how it slows down the overall productivity in respect to the extra time needed to every task. I do think each channel needs to evaluate their comfort level with sharing their lives on camera. Whenever y'all may need to pull back then that is what you have to do. I do know that the folks that are true fans will always show their support for y'all. The other folks will just have to deal with it whenever y'all don't follow their orders. God bless y'all take care, Steven
Well said, and I second that sentiment. Thank you. Prayers sent up. 🙏 And I will add that your chainsaw carvings have improved so well. It is beautiful to see.
Ditto. Cat & John are what we hope small family farms can be. Unfortunately, it's YT livestock channels who take the heat for small farms, we never see.👍
First thing I'd do is put up a sight barrier on Dad's side so he can heal in peace. Those two biddies will never leave him alone, as long as they can see him. In their walnut brains, he's an injured bird, they will always be curious because in the wild, he'd have passed due to infection or carrion. Giving him the little birds as companions is a smart move. Speedy healing, Dad❤️🩹
He's getting A LOT better now that he's able to stay behind the fence. We are hoping that once the babies get to go out they'll somehow help the situation.
Hi John and Cat. I’m so sorry to hear what happened to the dad. That’s very heartbreaking. Hopefully his babies treat him better. It’s great you guys are going to stand by him. Hopefully this busy month goes smooth for you both. It seems you guys could do with some positives for a change. Big hugs for dad I sure hope he heals fast.
My female e-moo chased my male around for a while but they calmed down and started nesting now. I just gather the eggs and I'm going to incubate them. Maybe in march if she's still laying I was going to let him hatch them. Too cold here I think for him to hatch them in January. Maybe I won't let him after watching this.
Poor Dad! He is so lucky to have you and Cat to take care of him! You take such good care of the animals. Keep hanging in there.😊
Poor "dad"... Sorry to hear about the troubles

Hello,
Question out of topic, but you may some experince, did any of your alpacas ever had neck subluxation?
If yes please share your experience
No, we have never dealt with that. I've heard of it but not informed enough for any input. I hope if it's something you're dealing with it resolves 🩷
😊
So sorry for poor « Dad » . 😢
Any idea why the “ladies” attacked Dad?
Will he be OK in the winter?
OMG, poor dad! Who would have thought those ladies would do that!
The ladies can be monsters. Most of why we took the babies away was because of the girls
Poor Dad!
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Doss farms sent me
So sorry for dad! Is that typical behavior of females?
