*Edit:* The EAC update did not patch TAA off workarounds! Remember to use your voice & protest. Let 343i know their EAC update may break these workarounds and that they NEED to officially support the option. Don't just say it once and stop, Digital Foundry also pointed out this issue with the game and 343i still haven't listened, they're not going to unless enough noise is made. Do not play the game after the update either. 343i needs to either revert EAC due to its harm on TAA & campaign modding or they at least need to add a TAA off option.

@@thonking7193 when's the last time you been there? I just checked and there isn't any. i definitely feel like the aliasing is EXTREMELY noticeable at lower resolutions. Even in 4K the aliasing is noticeable but it's not picked up in (at least my) recording
Sorry to be commenting on such and old and outdated video game video, but do you know if after implementing what you're saying here there is supposed to be an "off" switch in game when going to the TAA setting or if the setting is just turned to "off" even when it says "low". Thanks in advance if you see this and comment back.
It appears the workaround is a drop-in mod that replaces some modules in the Halo installation directory. With the replaced files TAA will be disabled. Reverting to the original Halo files will re-enable TAA. 343i (Halo Studios) needs to make this an actual option. TAA is horrible
Does this work on the first version of Halo Infinite? I replaced the file on the global folder but it prevents the game from launching due to probably not being the required version of the game, are you able to make a TAA Disable mod for the first version of the game? That would be super helpful
I saw your comment on a recent video about DLSS 3 on GTA V. Can you consider making a video showing how sparse grid in nvidia profile inspector get rid of all aliasing in GTA V with dx10.1? Almost none sharpness lost. Edit: But don't forget to set the game to dx10.1 If the GPU is powerful enough, it can even run at x8 sparse grid. It cost at lot of GPU power, but it looks better than TAA or DLSS because it doesn't blur the image and don't create ghosting. And as a bonus, you can bring back the old sharpening option in the nvidia control panel with regedit: Don't forget to disable the new one before change the regedit, witch is back and forth reversible. Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services vlddmkm\FTS Now open the EnableGR535 file from the right-hand side. Change it's Value Data to 0 and hit OK to save it. Finally, restart your PC for the changes to take place. Now you have the old Image Sharpening setting back in the Nvidia Control Panel. I like to leave at the default 0.50 and 0.17. Leave the resolution at the native of your monitor.
I've been looking for a solution for this since the game came out in 2021 when i first played it on PC. I literally bought a whole Xbox Series X to play it without looking horrible ffs
Man i love your videos about anti aliasing, but idk if the redditor mentality has gotten into your head, but do you seriously believe that even if people kill themselves so 343 removes TAA they will do it?? And that thousands of people will stop playing the game just because of TAA when majority will actually like that there is anti-cheat?? The industry has shifted almost entirely, if not entirely to temporal solutions like it or not, and it wont go back any time soon. If thats such a big problem to you then you can start saying good bye to gaming entirely
@@dude3278 some do, some sont, some dont care. To think that a game will suddenly stop being played because you cant choose your AA method is being delusional

@@Hybred i mean judging by the amount of people that follow you here or in the optimized gaming subreddit, if that amoumt of people actually stop playing it wont really affect anything. "due to their suppression of criticism" have you ever been to r/halo most of that subreddit *is* criticism

This has been incredible! Completely new game.
And even without TAA this game is mess like shit
the game crashes on startup when i replace the rtx module file
Is this + the More Graphic Options mod still safe to use in campaign or multiplayer today? Or what about ReShade?
Hi Hybrid, what is your recommended setting for Assassin’s creed Mirage when using dtm ? 4000 nits ? And what exposure? Thanks
