Gotta keep it 500k, he gave a lot of real spill in this interview. Real gems. A lot of the shit he said is why I Don’t work with rappers at this point. They don’t do square business and it be a hassle tryna do square business with them because like he said, they operate based on emotion.
I could give examples for weeks. But the music business (especially with rappers) ain’t like no other industry you could possibly get money in.

Not true. A360 is signing your life over for that contract. Yes the label will give you money to start and you have to pay it back with interest. What they don't tell you is the money you do make is theres and you may get 3% . The %97 they get off of what you make is not the money you owe them so you are making them millions and still owe them the original money. On top of that they own your masters. So if you decide hey I wanna go do movies or do a mixtape with drake or some one. They still own you with 97% of your profits from it. Until you fulfill that contract and pay what you owe. Meanwhile they done made triple x 100 what you owe them off of you. 360 is a slave deal period. He saying it's not because he's the one giving them out. He signed Roscoe dash . If you know Roscoe dash ..Roscoe was one of the most talented successful artist and producers. He made hits and hooks for everybody Poppin at the time and he is now broke Because of this.

This interview is a gold mine for artists and a great insight into the REAL music business. I agree with most of that the brother said but the reason No body independent is on the charts IS because the label OWNS the charts. They have whole IT teams that boost their own artist’s stream numbers. It’s all rigged unless you sign sadly
If you believe what you're saying you're just as foolish as him. Rule number never sign a 360. They don't deserve to eat off all aspects of your likeness. Independent artist gets the bag Tech 9, Tory Lanzes , Joyner Lucas etc etc.

You should research into who owns Billboard 100 and what else they own.. hint hint, they own the labels too under one umbrella company.
