Thank you Family that is a wonderful concept. The way you are able to twist to get a different spray pattern so thank you very much for that idea. I enjoy your content.
sorry for delay. If you type in high pressure swivel pressure washing on amazon you get one for about $50 but saved me so much headache fighting the hose. It is double sided female threaded I believe
this video & your replies are is soooo helpful. just a DIY home owner looking for something simple I can use every year or two with a ~3200 psi box store washer. PS - what is that wand on your 'gun'?
From testing yes bc there is no like high pressure setting that would bypass the injector. So to switch to rinsing after u soaped up the house u want to either switch tip to a high pressure like 40 degree tip which stops it pulling chem or what I do is have a bypass injector where I turn a knob and it shuts off the line running to my chem tank
No that trailer is a regular trailer though in one of my first videos I had had a wooden trailer that was an old boat trailer converted and worked great as well too
Yes chemical at all times from downstream injector. I would switch to regular tip if I wanted to just pure rinse with water. U can add a remote shut off on the Chem line but that’s extra like $250
Nice content. Off subject, who are you getting your shirts from and what is the price? Thanks ;-) Look forward to what you have in store for the future.
Hey Jeffrey thanks for your feedback and support. I got my shirts off. Fin-print.com. Great quality run about $60 each. Downside is they took like 3-4 months to come in but I ordered 10 total including my shorts and is more than worth it.
I have a 2.5 power washer and I just brought a m5 twist xjet and it’s a 2-3gpm attachment but however it doesn’t hold pressure it’s hooked up to 100ft hose! Can you give me some pointers
I'm not 100% it could be the gpm of machine is too low. the m5 twist xjet has different models based on that gpm maybe you got the wrong one by accident?
Likes it’s pulling soap after the pump so nothing is running through the machine So downstream from pump which is how it’s all done. U can xjet which attaches to the tip of the gun so u don’t run chem through your pressure lines and can run a hotter mix though then u are dealing with extra hose line which is a pain. The key is not running chem through the pump on the pressure washer
So with the m5 the missile setting is more pressure than the large spray pattern so if sprays something up close u could do damage if it’s not meant to take heavy pressure. I like to use it at like 1ft spray fan instead of it’s 10ft fan pattern. It’s perfect as not much pressure and can clean anything fast. It’s my fav nozzle by far
Do you batch mix or put in straight 12% how would I get 1.5 percent with the xjet ? Should I just batch mix in a bucket to 1.5-2% ? Or what Proportioner ? Thanks
So depends on what percent I’m trying to get to if I batch mixing or not. It also depends on your injector output. I have a 20% draw injector. So if I use straight 12.5% it puts 20% sh which would be like 2.3% roughly. If I wanted to weaken that I would add some water to my sh If I want to go stronger than 2.5% then I use my 12v system with proportioner
If you have a 20% draw injector then to get a 1.5%SH spray your batch would need to be 7.5% SH. 76.8oz 12.5% SH per gallon of solution. So 76.8oz of 12.5% SH and 51.2oz water. 7.5% × 0.2 = 1.5% 7.5% ÷ 12.5% = 0.6 128oz(in a gallon) × 0.6 = 76.8oz of 12%SH
@@justinoneill2837 what is the right SH? that answer changes depending on what you are cleaning. the different sizes of the M5 jet will push the same pressure but if you change the strength of the SH by adding water to the bucket/tank then the % it puts out would be different. The big part is changing the spray pattern easily without having to change tips over and over like you do with a j-rod
@pressurewashingguides3178 I do both but 4gpm commercial so far just brick cleaning on new construction , I'm doing 6k sqf brick mortar cleaning this weekend
Thanks man. I leave my machine psi set around 3,500 from the unloader it’s rated at 4200. The orifice changes on the m5 xjet is what lowers the pressure drastically. Like I can put my hand in front of most of the spray patterns
The jrod does have a little more distance but not that much difference. I like being able to switch spray pattern with an easy twist instead of having to switch the tip out over and over. I don’t really need crazy long distance for most jobs so the twist m5 works perfect for me

Hello brother… I just subscribed… I really appreciate the helpful knowledge you share… may God bless you and your business
Welcome aboard!

Glad it was helpful!
Hi, what is the joint called near your gun that makes lance swivel?
And what are both end joints like ? Thread, male/female ??
👍
yes i do too want to know the materials
sorry for delay. If you type in high pressure swivel pressure washing on amazon you get one for about $50 but saved me so much headache fighting the hose. It is double sided female threaded I believe
high pressure swivel pressure washing type into amazon.
Awesome video man, thank you for explaining it to us, appreciate you, man.
Anytime glad it could help
this video & your replies are is soooo helpful. just a DIY home owner looking for something simple I can use every year or two with a ~3200 psi box store washer. PS - what is that wand on your 'gun'?
So will the M5 pull soap no matter what shape you have the nozzle at?
From testing yes bc there is no like high pressure setting that would bypass the injector.

Great tips Brother keep up the great work
Thanks rishi I appreciate your support! I got like 50 more vids slowing releasing at like 1-2 a week trying to share everything I learned so far
Great video thanks. Are you from the Burgh?
great video - from ireland
Thanks buddy!
Hey man, I love your rig. Is that boat trailer repurposed?
No that trailer is a regular trailer though in one of my first videos I had had a wooden trailer that was an old boat trailer converted and worked great as well too
Sorry for my ignorance but does this pull chemical from the downstream injector all the time?
Yes chemical at all times from downstream injector. I would switch to regular tip if I wanted to just pure rinse with water. U can add a remote shut off on the Chem line but that’s extra like $250
miss a spot. LOL. Great video
hahahaha :)
Would this work still with and electric pressure washer 2050 psi? And spray strong?

I have 3/8 quick connect I think my xjet m5 is 1/4 ,how do I connect it together ,what do I need
I have a 2.5 power washer and I just brought a m5 twist xjet and it’s a 2-3gpm attachment but however it doesn’t hold pressure it’s hooked up to 100ft hose! Can you give me some pointers
Did you figure it out? I was about to order a 100ft hose and that nozzle for my 2.5 as well 3700psi.
I'm not 100% it could be the gpm of machine is too low. the m5 twist xjet has different models based on that gpm maybe you got the wrong one by accident?
Is that still a down streaming since the soap is from the soap injector in the pump outlet?
Likes it’s pulling soap after the pump so nothing is running through the machine So downstream from pump which is how it’s all done. U can xjet which attaches to the tip of the gun so u don’t run chem through your pressure lines and can run a hotter mix though then u are dealing with extra hose line which is a pain. The key is not running chem through the pump on the pressure washer
Can you use this with a soft wash machine?
Cool, so with the M5 it's low pressure at any spray pattern? Just learned a few new things I can use, THANKS BRO for making this video. I'm up in NJ
@@pressurewashingguides3178 but it will still pull sh when it's in the higher pressures and missle mode, right?
@@rogerzindler8144the only xjet nozzle that won't pull soap is the xjet with Barb
Do you batch mix or put in straight 12% how would I get 1.5 percent with the xjet ?

@@pressurewashingguides3178 thanks a lot I have a 12 volt system but I feel like Thenx jets better for pool cages so I dont need 2 hoses thanks again
If you have a 20% draw injector then to get a 1.5%SH spray your batch would need to be 7.5% SH. 76.8oz 12.5% SH per gallon of solution. So 76.8oz of 12.5% SH and 51.2oz water.
7.5% × 0.2 = 1.5%
7.5% ÷ 12.5% = 0.6
128oz(in a gallon) × 0.6 = 76.8oz of 12%SH
@@pressurewashingguides3178 I thought the whole point of using the xjet m5 was so that it was able to use the right SH automatically?

You just gave me an idea... 😁👍
Oh nice glad I could help!
Facts, good tips too
Thanks Richard glad it could help
What gpm machine you using?
I started with 4gm then went to 8gpm. If ur doing residential then 4gpm is more than enough
@pressurewashingguides3178 I do both but 4gpm commercial so far just brick cleaning on new construction , I'm doing 6k sqf brick mortar cleaning this weekend
Nice video man, thanks for sharing !!
Do you lower the pressure on your machine to use the x jet?
thanks man !
keep on these nice videos !
Thanks man. I leave my machine psi set around 3,500 from the unloader it’s rated at 4200. The orifice changes on the m5 xjet is what lowers the pressure drastically. Like I can put my hand in front of most of the spray patterns
@@pressurewashingguides3178 All right man. Thanks for taking the time to reply ! Defenetly gonna try the Xjet
Have a good day !
You recommend this over the xjet?
This is just a tip you can put at he end of your gun, the xjet has the ability to draw and apply the chemicals
exactly I prefer a soft wash set up over xjet.
Aren’t you giving up distance that a Jrod has?
The jrod does have a little more distance but not that much difference. I like being able to switch spray pattern with an easy twist instead of having to switch the tip out over and over.
I don’t really need crazy long distance for most jobs so the twist m5 works perfect for me
How high does it go?
The m5 isn't just for down streaming you can use it with a 12v infact any pump
this is true I use it for rinsing as well. it does have many uses. i havent tried it with my 12v personally but seen others do it
So I can pull soap with the m5 twist and rinse similar to a jrod without turning my Chen off
@josephjohnson2114 yes, it's the only nozzle you'll ever need
@pressurewashingguides3178 I rinse with the high pressure xjet nozzle and it turns my soap off for me.I run 4gpm so no bypass yet.
I appreciate you buddy
Anytime my dude. I’m always here to help answer questions on anything I can
I kind of just splurged on the DeWalt gun that has a grip and rotates under pressure for $60
mmm interesting I will have to look that one up
