I did enjoyed the content of the video, but didn't enjoyed the way interviewer led the interview, so I didn't manage to watch at least the half of the video even with increased playback speed. The first point is, it looked like he was bored or not interested. I suppose it would be cool, if the the interviewer would be more enthusiastic and share his personal passion, instead of sucking the energy out of his listeners. The second point, I didn't like how the interviewer acted while listening to interviewee and how he asked question. The interviewer was distracted by sth on his screen and he observed his keyboard, indicating he is not indeed interested. Sometimes he made big pauses, identifying he didn't remember what question was and while asking he couldn't formulate the question clearly. I suppose it's not the way the interviewer should prepare for the interview. I hope you do not consider my comment as my personal hate, no. I decided to spend a couple of minutes not to send some shit, I just wanted to give a sincere feedback and highlight, that the person you invited is really cool and the content is good, but I couldn't enjoy it due to the lack of interviewing professionalism in some points. I do hope for your understanding and wish you all the best!
Hi - I really appreciate this comment. Thank you for taking the time to write this. I have been given similar feedback from others and it is definitely not because i’m not prepared it is more so to get an angle of a story. But appreciate the support and I will improve moving forward. Thank you!
Very disconcerting for you to not be looking at the camera during the interview, as you look distracted and/or uninterested. Recommend positioning your camera to avoid this feeling or to stare directly into the camera lens
Thanks for the interview. Super helpful.
