  • Going to try something a little different this year for my Extra Life fundraiser. As always, your donations go to Primary Children's Hospital here in Salt Lake City, which is a cause that is near and dear to my heart (happy to discuss this with you if you are interested). For every $100 donation I receive, YOU will be able to choose a game that I play for a minimum of 1 hour and record a "Let's Play" or Design Review sort of session. I will then edit and post those videos here on UA-cam. If you also want to be included on said video, we can hop on a call and you can explain why you chose the game, and what it means to you! I would like to reach 24 of these videos through 2024 (aka - 24 Hours of gaming).
This time, Marv joins me to talk not only the Serious Sam franchise, but early PC games in whole. We discuss the dumb fun that this game is, and what nostalgia we have from playing it. We also discuss a lot about how each of us got our careers in computers and technology because of OC gaming in general. This is a fun trip down memory lane for anyone that enjoyed early FPS games like Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, Quake, Halo, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, and more! We also discuss some of the companies behind this FPS movement including Id Software, CroTeam, Bungie, and Rare. This time we went WAY beyond the game that was chosen, but had a great and informative discussion about the First Person Shooter genre in whole!
If you would like to donate, but cannot give the $100, please give anything you can! Every dollar helps a child in need, and in these crazy times I fully understand how tight money is. Donate Here:

I am looking forward to hearing what you want me to play!

It was great to talk and look back at the games that got me into gaming and tech!
