Seriously. Did you know he wrote Wherever You Will Go when he was barely 16? And it's not just a love song... it's a song about love transcending death. He wrote it when he found out that his uncle was dying, for that uncle and the uncle's wife. Alex seems like such a sweet, gentle, truly good guy and he so did not deserve to be kidnapped. Thankfully, he's such a genuinely nice guy that they let him go... but I know it was traumatizing and I can only hope and pray that he's been able to put the incident in a box in the back of his mind and he knows only peace, tranquility, and happiness 🖖🏻
Agree. Listening to this now reminiscing about good old days when I was listening to his music on a daily basis. And I miss that.

Only One. It lifts me up and I feel better. Alex is one of the most underrated singers. His voice is perfect and his lyrics are amazing.
I agree...I always loved his "Wherever you will go"..but I'm just recently really getting into all the great music he's made since break up of The Calling...how have I missed such a talent and poet all rolled into one for so long? Love his voice...great range.

What a different side of Alex! The guy never seizes to Amaze Me! I knew from the first time I heard Wherever You Will Go that this young man was something special. I actually saw The Calling in 2002 and met Alex at the CNN Center in Atlanta Ga and oh how I wish I could have been there with him in Detroit in 2013! I wouldn’t have let anybody hurt him!
I've recently rediscovered the calling and so of course Alex and I'm ashamed to say this is the first time I've heard this song but not ashamed to express how much I love it! Listening to it made me feel so emotional and I live for music that speaks to me and this definitely does

Played this when was pregnant and was the one song she'd respond too. Sarah was born 14th Oct and still recognises this song and calms her down. So it's true babies can hear in the womb. My 10yr old loved wherever you will go as a baby cos I think I played it that much when pregnant with her!

The fact that I met Alex Band in person on May 26th, 2024 in São José dos Campos/SP/Brazil makes all his songs have a new flavor to me. Especially "Only One" because I truly lived his solo career. And I told him we need "We've All Been There" on all digital platforms. ♥️♥️♥️
