I posted a short recently of a new pendant I got with excellent cut SI diamonds in a pave style setting and I swear they hit so much harder then everyone of my moissanite pieces. Have diamond rings and they hit harder too (at least when it comes to how they refract white light in a pave setting) . My diamond pieces do it effortlessly at every angle. And tbh I have SI clarity diamonds that are well cut that hit much better then my homeboy VS piece. Thats becsuse CUT is king above all. Don't matter what clarity it is if the cut is poor they won't perform well. Learned this the hard way and have saved money in the long run when I knew exactly what to look for. All about preference tho. But they do perform differently without a doubt. Moissanite appears to be more "fuzzy" because the double refraction causes much more white light to be converted into colored light internally (fire). They have a more glittery effect of white/colored light oppose to the crisp , bold flashes of white light diamonds give off. The depth and contrast of diamonds also give them this on/off flicker effect of white light that moissanite can't replicate and do so in a cluster effect regardless of the viewing angle. Moissanite has to be viewed at more specific angles to get those bold white flashes off the crown. But what you do get is much more fire with moissy and That's what some people prefer. So like I said all bout preference one stone does what the other cant. Don't purchase moissanite expecting it to perform the way diamonds do because you will be dissapointed,⁵ and vice versa. But the main thing is CUT. Especially when it comes to diamonds. CUT should be priority over everything else csuse like I said I have SI diamonds that outperform VS's becuse the cut is superior. I've had diamonds with very good clarity that left me super disappointed because their performance sucked due to a shitty cut smh. I want to get a sterling silver Miami Cuban chain with Moissanites either as a collar (choker) chain or a 22 inch. I don’t see the point of gold plating when silver when kept clean looks as good as white gold plus you got the bling from the Moissanites and don’t have to worry about the plating chipping years down the line.
I have two Hybrid White Gold Cubans and two Moissanite tennis Bracelets . I wear the pieces everyday because they shine crazy and look A1! Been a big fan and will continue to support. 💪🏾
