We are using PCM process as an Engineering project, there are hell lot of difficulties we are facing a lot of problems to achieve the desired output. At times we face printing problems and sometimes the resist comes out of the metal during etching thus giving irregular rough geometries. Please explain me the process or any suitable link that you can share. Please do the needful.
A few years ago I made this video using the Dry Film Photoresits, I worked a lot and did countless tests until I managed to do it with homemade implements, they do not have the high clarity of what is presented in the video, however the results are quite acceptable and functional for the purposes of prototypes. I hope it serves you and as indicated in the answer, the initial cleaning prior to the application of the dry film is very important to prevent the latter from rising in the etching process, as well as each stage of the process. Hello! how did shallow etching and through-etching work in one movement?
As the artwork is both sides we just have text one one side of the artwork for text to ensure we can complete in a single process
what thickness of metal do you etch through? and how many hours does it take?@@Qualitetch

No we cannot etch on gold sorry, but we can etch on other metals and gold plate afterwards

clean metal with good adhesion would be the key. You could always forward your enquiry to Qualitetch to etch :)

We use automatic etching machines by etchcut they do the cleaning before etching so we never face the problem you have mentioned
