Another one I found while searching my old HHD.
Not a big fan of the Soundtrack version of Earth and Sea. Don't get me wrong, it's a good piece, but I've always liked the in game version. So back then I decided to put the two together.
I'm really surprised that one else has done it. I figure I upload it for fellow fans of Shenmue.

This is so relaxing and yet badass at the same time. Awesome memories of playing this with my cousins, completely in awe of how good the game looked and played.

Finally someone uploaded the best version! That 1st part is the first version we hear until the end of the game! I feel the 1st part is way better than the later part!
shouts out to all the og who finished this on the dreamcast. its one of those things you had to experience at the time. I've yet to be blown away like that by a game.

I haven’t gotten the luxury of playing it on the dreamcast since i was born three years after the game came out but i got the chance to play it on the Xbox One and i always looked forward to the fights due to this song!
I can't wait to hear this all over again when it comes to ps4 :D

Back In The Dreamcast Days Wooden Knight Held The World's Fastest Time In The 70 Person Free Battle For A Hot Minute. That Time Was 3:53:93. It Would Have Been A Couple Of Seconds Quicker, But I Accidentally Kept Hitting Pedro Warren & It Kept Resetting His Death Animation. After Awhile People Started Posting Times That I Could Tell That Were Not Possible So I Went On To Play Other Stuff. Awesome Song!
I play this song while I'm fighting swarms of thugs, menacing men, yakuzas, boss fights in Judgement, Lost Judgement and the Yakuza series. They are the spiritual successor to Shenmue.

Like if you use this to run or train while picture yourself beating whoever your enemies are. It can be real persons who bullied or are bulling you or some abstract enemies like inner fears, etc.
I picture myself with the typical sound effect of the big hits with reverb beating dark shadows. That is true inspiration. If you haven't tried it give it a try. It is a "ki" booster.

My only complaint about this game and this is LITERALLY my only complaint is that the 70 man battle just isn’t hard enough, you spend hours practising your moves for this climactic showdown only for all the minions to drop after a single kick, needed to make the minions take more damage
Maybe your problem is precisely that you spent HOURS practicing moves a.k.a powergaming. The whole point of powergaming is to make your character invincible, so you can't really blame the game for that. On a side note, Shenmue 2 fights are way harder than anything in Shenmue 1. Arcade Chai is like your average fight in Shenmue 2.
@@Karakta Shenmue 2 was super hard and difficult. The timeline was really long and qte was very infuriating.
@@Karakta Shenmue II fights aren't bad, so long as your elbow assault is leveled up sufficiently. That, and counters/throws are the way to go - really so much more effective than any combo.
@@humansvd3269 I loved the fights in Shenmue 2! My only complaints are that auto-dodging takes precedence over the uncommon ducking or deflecting when using the dodge button. Sure I love that I can circle around my opponents at a million miles per hour to land a Darkside Hazuki but I also kinda want to do other moves that need deflections or ducking to set up. Actually grabbing is a big problem in Shenmue combat that they should have fixed but they just fucking got rid of in Shenmue 3. Grabbing is very hard to pull of due to how the enemy ai will simply spam attacks so there's no opening for you to grab. The best grab in the game is the machine-gun fist, no doubt. It's very easy to pull off with a lot of damage and a badass continuation finisher.
@@garrettoliva5154 They were really difficult but I'm happy to have beaten it. I would call it the Video game equivalent of the book "war and peace" in terms of story length.
