You can use wood glue, it's the same as white glue but has less water so it doesn't wet the cardboard so much. Also wood contact paper instead of paper.
What a wonderful project. Unfortunately the link to the dollhouse pattern doesn't appear to work. I look forward to seeing more of this. Thanks for sharing and inspiring others.
I have been searching for a project like this. In the past, I have attempted to make a cardboard doll house however, it just never works out for me. This is perfect. Thank you. I will be on the lookout for all of the videos. Thank you.
Hi Poppy, my name is Diahan, l follow u from Costa Rica. Thank you for sharing your talent and creativity, I can't wait to see how you decorate the house, the premise of the living room and kitchen is beautiful.
We made a dolls house with a cardboard box, it had a polystyrene 2nd floor. Contact (sticky plastic stuff used for covering books). The contact had timber look, used for floors and some had flower pattern so it made good wall paper. We used acrylic paint I think to paint home made furniture and assorted items. It was pretty cheap, didn't warp the cardboard. Corrugated red cardboard for a roof. Furniture we used match boxes, little wooden boxes that tea had come out if etc. Scraps of fabric and lace. At some point miniature stuff started creeping in via cheap stores. It lasted through several girls and about 40 years.. It didn't look as stylish as this does, but it provided hours of fun.
You are an awesome teacher! I understood everything you showed perfectly. I am anxious to make this…for ME and I’m a grandma with grown grandchildren 😁Debbie
You two make this look so easy, thank you. If you start with your cardboard with lines going across and then stack them the next one wth the lines going up and down, you will have a much stronger wall. If you want your building to be stronger, stack the next layers the same way. This way the cardboard won’t bend and become weak.
Been waiting for this. Ive been collecting cardboard and cardboard boxes. Incredible work! Using skewers as dowels to hold walls etc in place is brilliant. I was going to use strips of cardboard made to look like crown molding to hold up the second floor but the skewers are better... Im planning on putting in stairs, a patio and a front verandah as well....
I am clicking the link for the house printable page, but I am getting a message that says there is no url for that. Can you help? I am really enjoying your video!
I love this idea and very much want the download... but all I get is 404 error on the Dollhouse page. The other downloads work fine! Will there be an update?
Awfull lot of work! How many days, did it take you? It looks! Nice! Though!!! ❤ seems unfinished some how? Maybe, less green! And maybe, more pink! Lol. 😂

Love this! You did an awesome job! FYI….you can make your cardboard stronger by glueing in opposite directions.
Yes! Thank you!
It looks better than the dollhouses you can buy in shop.
Popppy I love this Barbie sized Ikea dollhouse. That is tiny. I make them all the time but 1/6 size which fits Barbie.
What a wonderful project. Unfortunately the link to the dollhouse pattern doesn't appear to work.
I look forward to seeing more of this.

Amazing work, really love this
I would like to point out that your cardboard layers should be alternating directions for added strength. This will also reduce warping.
Beautiful ❤
