Thats what happens when people mature. A majority of people wouldn't do things in their 30s and beyond compared to things they may have done in the earlier stages of his or her life

Yeah it kinda sucked how short their match was, despite being built up so well. I remember being so pumped to find out how it would all play out at Mania '06.
This was one of my favorite matches of all time. (I was 11 at the time) Not saying it was a 5* match.. but it was my 3 favorite wrestlers all in the same match on the grandest stage of them all with the underdog winning. Will never forget this match
I still say to this day that Kurt, Randy, and Rey match should have been the last main event match at WM22 and not John Cena and HHH. I understand they're match was short but they could have killed more time with Rey celebration and to honor Eddie Guerrero so more or something. To me that match was way more entertaining than HHH vs John Cena
man I rmember that match. You can put Kurt and Rey in the ring and get a classic for sure thanks to how well their skillsets work together in that environment, then you throw someone as solid as Randy in there with a moveset that allows for coming in suddenly with an RKO and being a little sinister? Excellent combo of arsenals. That should have gotten more time.
this is on those matches which still has some faint memories in my mind. The fact is that this match has 3 wrestlers with three different styles of wrestling.
As an Angle fan, I have a love/hate relationship with that match. It’s a great match and there are various spots where Angle looked unstoppable! I have no problem going with Rey because of Eddie, but i felt like it was always just an automatic gimmie for Rey.
yeah, the eddiesploitation effect was very visible. But at least we still can be grateful that even a predictable match didnt have a shitty process, its very enjoyable. The match was really great.
It’s kinda sad to hear that the original plan wasn’t for Rey to win the title at mania, all that tribute to Eddie only for him to lose would’ve been awful
Considering Randy ended up a 14 time champs and headline multiple manias after and considering the story I think it’s safe to say Rey deserve it and it was the right booking decision
I think they should’ve swapped angle and Rey’s wins and had the big celebration for Rey winning after the battle royal and had angle win the title at mania
I believe Randy suffered a drug overdose not too long after this match happened and got suspended for it, so that's what he's referring to when he said 2006 was a rough year for him.
I feel like I've seen quotes from Randy about the "Eddie's in hell thing" saying he was uncomfortable but it's interesting to actually hear him say it
“He’s always wearing crazy shit”
That’s the most accurate thing about Rey I have heard Randy is just great
Randy has grown to humble himself for real, look like he checks himself in the mirror every morning now. He really been workin on himself.
Hey workin on those cheeks of yours
@@botchjones1130 wait ...which ones?😳😳😳
Edit: Your first name and your comment is so ironic
I honestly cant believe 2021 Randy was the same human being in 2006 , he looked , acted , did everything so differently

They were meant to have 19 minutes and it got cut down to 9 minutes at the last minute lol
They packed a lot into 9 minutes but I wish they got more time
Yer, it was still a great match, but more for the emotion more than the match as a whole. Still it's one of my favs for that alone.

I was 15 at the time... I remember I didn't like Kurt, but I definitely respected him.
to be fair It's probably the best sub 10 minute match of all time
This was a really great show
That German Suplex still make me go "OMFG!"

Thank you so much for supporting our Randy Orton Kurt angle 💪💪💪💪He is our hero he is my idol💪💪
Randy still looks so young

In a strange way it solidified Rey and gave him a big moment
I think rey deserved that win in the actual match itself he came ready that day
He won royal rumble those victories used to mean sum so I get it he was booked lazy af tho with his title reign
The promo for that fight was so good!
The finish to this match is my all time favourite along with the jumping Tombstone Piledriver to Shawn at Mania 26.
Damn dude on the left sounds like jr light
It’s kinda sad to hear that the original plan wasn’t for Rey to win the title at mania, all that tribute to Eddie only for him to lose would’ve been awful
I think he meant rey was never going to be in the main event, he got added into it last minute to punish randy
When he was forced to beat Christian after he won the WHC in 2011
Randy doesn't remember when it's a bad look for him
Why would you
@@marvingonzalez8586 It's just a bit of a weird way to talk, such a good memory until the bad parts
didn't he get busted for roids that year?

Randy deserved to win that match
He would've done had he not violated the wellness policy just before Mania forcing them to suspend him
I think it was a good touch to have Rey win in that instance.
nah rey winning was good choice

Fast pace match wish they had more time also i wanna say what if Batista don't get hurt
The boys can get from school and
Might sound weird to some but the whole thing between randy and using Eddie to get heat made me dislike Rey in this whole program
typical rey getting carried by eddie even in death
I often liked the heels in wrestling but I get what you're saying he even went over Eddie at mania 21 and i wasn't happy with that decision either
It’s wwe decision not Rey decision
