The hotel Cala Bona has great entertainment. So has the Sur Hotel just before the harbour. Also take a right after Smithysv and first left and you'll see the Sanddancers bar. It opens late afternoon but has music and great karaoke till late. The owner is called Vaz and is a mad Geordie. But he's a brilliant character. You'll love it. 👍👍
Oh haha Kevin what a faff. It’s a long enough journey to Cala Millor from Palma without the detours . Stayed there in 1994 but haven’t been back since. It would have been great if you could have called off at Cala Ratjada en route to Alcudia, it’s a gorgeous walk along the front there.☀️
Was there 3 wk ago walked plenty times up n down cala millor n cala bona had some lovely meals too. Like a distant memory . We woukd go back . So jealous lol
While you are over that way, try to pop to the Rafa Nadal Acadamy and museum just outside Manacor. If you like tennis, it is an amazing facility. You can walk round watching the players, Rafa mat be there as he was knocked out in the first round last week.
I remember an older guy walking around Las Americas when we were there with a whistle & making stupid bird noises well before lockdown, it’s probably the same guy, you surely could not get two of them Kev, was he older ?
You were given a runaround with the buses, but also you were sold a duff cap! The letter ‘N’ in NY is the wrong way around. So that you know where you are, remember the saying, “Cala Millor, fish on the floor, Cala Bonar, fish are a goner!

There's a few very canny bars in Cala Millor, don't give up on it, Cala Bona is a nice little resort as well.

Stayed in the Protur Bonaire in Cala Bona about 15 years ago, really nice hotel but didn't like the resort much.
Cala Mayor / Cala Millor - it's an easy mistake to make! Sorry to hear about your marathon trip! You'll love Cala Bona and Cala Millor though!
