It is ridiculous how excited for this I am and I don’t even have a Harley (anymore)! This makes me want to get a 2000’s dyna. I miss the sound and the feel. Thanks to everyone at Thrashin who puts these together you are getting us snow bound northerners through another winter.

FYI , the rear turn signals look like they are from a DXT model, this bike may have had saddle bags a some point.

I can tell by the silhouette it's an early model Dyna. Maybe even an FXDX showing the duel tachs, and gas cap at the top of the tank.

don't worry , it always happens when vlogging , but your content is still fire , this is why I use a DSLR canon 6D with 70-200 lens ( i sold my 2009 nightser 1200 package tuned , with bigger forks and bars to buy my camera rig after becoming disabled ) and a external mic so that sound doesnt become and issue , so I use that for my main filming supercar footage and vlog with a go pro , but still use an external mic so the go pro sound is garunteed , you could alway put music in the back ground and voice over the footage with sound on the footy you think you lost describing whats happeneing especially if its riding footy or demostration stuff or slo mo the footage as b--roll while voice over, dont ever think your footage is lost , there's always ways to fix it , same with taking photos , never delete pics I am completely self taught myslef , but have super pro footage and b-roll now learning from sush instances like the 1 your explaing

Loving the videos! I would love to see a video on how different products are developed! What does a bike like that typically bring? Seems they are pretty cheap in Colorado, I don't see much of the dyna scene out here, mostly baggers.

Always an issue with carburetors, gas going sour on you, ethanol in gas, and things in the Carb getting gunked up and running poorly. Gas is probably stale, too. Kind of why I like my M8 with fuel injection, they rarely get messed up, if you take good care of them and don't run them low on fuel or out of fuel.
Ask Chris when Saddleman will have their new FXRT M8 Softail fairing ready? I suspect your brake pedal will be quicker😆

I just picked up an 04 fxdp. Interested to see what you guys do to this. Mine already has the mikuni in it and it runs great. Thinking about swapping out bars and risers, possibly exhaust.

I have a 1995 883Xhl almost stock only a Carb and exhaust upgrade. Love to do a make over but have no idea what to do. Love what you do with the Dyna any suggestions on a old Sportster I'm in southern California La area next to Juan home

I’d love to see you guys put a lectron carb on this thing. They’re great on dirtbikes and I’ve seen a few dudes running them on Harley’s but they’re not well documented

Digging the blog as usual, but curious as to why a Kuni carb? American made bike, American made Thrashin’ parts, but no American made carb? S&S?
No hate, just curious as I’m wanting to upgrade my carb.
Cv’s are the best carb. Few tweaks and it will run better than any mikuni.

Rebuild that carb, replace intake seals and dial it in ThT cv Is fine
You can put any carb you want on it if it has intake leaks forgetaaboutit
