Why so empty ,what time of day was this video taken? We have a Westfield here in Christchurch NZ not as big ,but still big for our population and it's always choc a bloc you have to look for seating in the food court
About 10:00 am. From 11:30 onwards it gets congested. On weekends you can't walk fast, because to many many people and if it's raining which is the normal weather here then it really gets absolutely crazy. 😉

Why do people have to walk up 100 steps to get there,ridiculous,should be a covered escalator.
How far is this mall from central london
Depends on where you are in the center but lest talk about 30 minutes if you use the London Tube. You can also check it on Google Maps 😉
