🔺 BIG THANKS to @corsair for making this video possible!
I've been rocking their 🎧VIRTUOSO XT headphone for almost a year now, and it's the longest any headphone has managed to survive with me. It sounds great, doesn't seem to be able to break (even though I abuse headphones while I'm performing), and when I'm at home or on the road, I'm able to wirelessly connect it to my PC and use it to play games in my offtime.

this dude is too humble. i've seen him live and it was fucking fantastic
HARDSTYLE DJ TRIES HARDSTYLE DJING
Had some experience before but never expected to learn that lot by watching this. That’s for the tutorial Tim ❤️
Good tips, especially the aperances tip. As strange as it seems, a lot of people really do think your making the music as your playing. When.. Nah, most of the time you are just playing the song.
When I learned that this was the case years back, it kind of left me crestfallen. But, when I started DJing myself, I started to understand that your creating a vibe. So why break the magic?
Now the real challenge is to go back to the old days and try to find ways song's could work together outside of there respective transitions. Like Mashups, like the one you did with stampuhh.
i have not been able to watch the full tutorial yet... but the removal of the sub base when mixing is genius. I've been looking for tutorials like this for years. awesome.
thats whats you are supposed to do when you mix? and they show it in all tutorials on youtube?
@@Blurris. yeah lol that's like one of the most fundamental things you learn when you learn to dj
Game changer🥴
@@Blurris. hes probably not a producer so the concept is new to him
Yes that's how you mix everything lol
Exactly when I needed it👍
Amazing tips, this will be handy in terms of figuring out how to mix hardstyle (or just hardcore) with other techno sub generes, like hard techno, schranz, or industrial, because those tracks are between 145 and 160bpm
I never imagined Atmozfears was such a cool guy!!! That moment at 22:40 "Show you guys I'm not full of sh**" hahahahhahah
Splitting the audio channels is great too if the track has those.
I like the flangelerlr
Great video Tim, pretty useful tips! 🙌🏼
A very nice tutorial for mixing, but I think you could do it better by zooming into the rekordbox small screen and place it to the video top left or right for your viewer to see the bars
Nice! Cool to see this too besides production tuts!
Woaaa damn!!! You explain things a little like I do. Having a talk with you would be awesome, haha.
Very enjoyable and informative video!
I learned a lot and hope this will be useful in the future for me.
Ty for making the video, much appreciated! ❤❤
Hope we get one for music production... Thanks corsair!
you can check out my masterclass at HarderClass atmozfea.rs/masterclass
@@Atmozfears you're the 💣 dude. It was an honor to meet you in Madrid a couple months ago ✌️
This was very informative gonna start Djing a bit in VRI have a huge passion for HS and really wanna throw around some old tracks so this was helpfull
Thanks, great video. Just some tips for next videos. Light the faceplate of the Controller a bit better so people see what functions you use. Imbed the Screen onto the video.
finally the only hardstyle dj tutorial i found helped
best tips video ive seen for hardstyle, never understood what the counting to 16 thing was, i wondered why my mix sounded so shite when I counted 16 seconds XD
How to hardstyle dj :
1. You must put “z” in ur alias
So layed back absolutely love it💚🫡
Lekker bezig tim , de reddingstip is wel zeer fijn om te weten. Veder was ik al up to date ,
Awesome video for beginnners. I would like to see the advanced stuff too!
Thank you Atmozfears... And I swear I'll try that I never put the CUE Button if an actually track play on the same cdj when I play a b2b😁😁🙈🙈really cool introsuction
Yeah back when we were playing records on vinyl we could mix for 2 to 3 mins etc on some tracks and beat juggle from the tracks a couple of time's to max the mix longer nice lesson for beginners fella respect :)
thanks this would be really helpful. djing has always been something i wanted to try out, i bought a deck last christmas but i was too confused but now that i have your tutorial i might actually be able to learn :D
Feeling the same exact way.
Will you ever make an FL tutorial on your leads/producing style? I'd be very interested to see how you make what you make
you gotta buy the masterclass
I'm willing to teach most basics, but over the years I've backed off from my signature sounds/way of working... Due to people blatantly copying everything, instead of taking the lessons in and making it their own. I don't say everyone does, but some do, which results in other 'artists' saturating the scene with my sound...
Great Video Tim, keep up the good work!
Thx for your insight!
I miss Fantasy Island festival. One of Absolutely Fresh's best productions to date. Sadly it had to make way for the Freshtival weekender
Yes!! Finally!! -Physikz
Nice, lots of great information provided Tim but I need to point out one thing. There's not much light in the room so people that have never seen an actual controller don't know what the fuck you pointing at or what you doing cause they can't see it. :D
Maybe a Question out of context but im interessted in ypu lighting 😂 what are you using in this example? Is this pre programmed or is there a good software for auto sound detection? 😇
thank you mr atmozfears
I love that your showing all of the "secrets" and not shying away from everything wink wink ha ha but so you not think a good idea would be to mix a set and or album in the style of hardcore. Layering tracks with bass if that makes sense. I hope it does ha
Deze shizzle is ook wel het makkelijkste om te draaien
Really good video, even for someone who is already experienced in this topic :) Thank you
Is pretty neat how you no longer need a computer to use a deck since the deck is the computer itself
Cool video tnxs for this video 🙌💪
Great tutorial 🔥🔥🔥
How do you even know?? You didnt watch the whole thing🤣🤣🤣
@@wyyho I guess I’m early LOL
@@Ikdro Haha but yeah you’re right it will be a great tutorial
How is the track at 23:33 called?
@ATMOZFEARS pls
thnx tim now i can be a pro dj like you
learning how to copy atmozfears in every way possible lmao
@@matthijswaverijn4159 kut matthijs hahaha
much appreciated
Anyone know the tune at 22:50?
cool Tim
Nice tutorial
Gotta say I'm so fire at mixing techno and house but hardstyle and some dubstep is hard to mix
@ATMOZFEARS Is the track on 24 mins ever going to be released?
wow. very easy!😵
Awesome to see atmozfears with my favorite peripheral brand corsair!
I have an alternative resumes of this tutorial: "HOW NOT TO BE MANDY" and "Hardstyle DJ making a Hardstyle tutorial" TAKE ALL MY MONEY DUDE💵💵
Does anybody have good ideas for lights like him that ready to the music automatic
10:30 Hardcore DJs: Hold my water
A bit hard to see what your doing on the black colored mixer
22:50 Track ID ?
I watched this video then played my first festival 3 months later lol
🔥🔥🔥
Hey whats the type of the Controller ?
You should also open a DJing school :P
niCe
what dj set should you buy as a beginner for hardstyle?
You mean Equip?
One of the best starting gear is the DDJ 400 from Pioneer.
Kinda Cheap but got the same Layout as all the club standard layout.
Rekordbox is included as well (:
Get a midi controller & try Virtual DJ ;)
@@Atmozfears My man still responded💪🏻, in these 5 months I have bought a ddj 400 and already played my first set in front of some people. This vid really helpt me man!
pls start with 160bpm raw
Can i book you for my Wedding?
😂 😂 😂
one thing that weirded me out a bit: why does he lets mixer go into red zone??? I was always being told it could fry the speakers
Most pioneer mixers have a built in limiter, and almost every sound system in the world has compressors/limiters before sending signal out to amps / speakers.
Don't worry too much about it, but don't go OVER the red lines.
@@Atmozfears thanks for response from yourself haha!
btw. the story about frying the speakers was real anecdote from my DJ friend that's that I was scared lol
id @22:47?
Was misschien handig geweest om normale lampen aan te zetten hahah, beetje lastig te zien zo soms
Id at 23:33?
On 16:05 is it just the echo + the pitch up to create that build up effect? I tried so many things but I can't get it like this haha
It’s echo, put on 1/16beat ~23ms, and turn the knob down to 1ms to get that sound.
@@twanm Is this also possible on the DDJ-400? I cant figure out how to do it
@@peter2598 it should be, put on echo. And then the length of the effect to 1ms
@@twanm Thats the problem, the smallest length i can get with the ddj-400 is 1/16 because it doesnt have a knob for it
@@peter2598 can’t you adjust the value in rekordbox itself?
Great explanation. I'm going see COONE for DJ sets. LOLs.
bruh fantasy 2012 was my first party lol
Name song 22:55 :(
Very entertaining but dude, i cant really see what you're doing on the mixer. Get some more lights and bring the camera closer!
When i start to give a performance i start with 220BPM 🎉🎉😂😂
Kijk aan👌
track at 11:10 pls
Brennan Heart - Just As Easy
instructions not clear, broke my ankle
Don’t play 160 bpm raw mid day- Dominator in the corner like 😳
2:21 I need to see the set where he failed XD
its not hard to mix hardstyle but its hard to make hardstyle.
I’m literally so lost…
tbh my friend said have to watch u but i dont realy want to. so heres a free view from me cause my friend forced me
I absolutely love hardstyle and respect your productions (and sets...... Defqon 2015) but I will say as a bed room dj who only djs for fun please mix another genre as the 150 bpm structure gets so boring very quickly
23:30 anyone know what song it is?
also wanna know that one :o
we need to know @Atmozfears
unreleased tune from wiqtory
"Toxic" - by some degenerate
Anyone know the song at 19:15?
Kill the noise - Fuk ur MGMT (Atmozfears edit)
