- Atul Gautam was one of the talented Tabla Maestro of Nepal. He was a representative of the Kavi Prasad Gautam family who started endless 24 hours "Harerama Kirtan" in Nepal 1929 AD. Lt Atul learnt music from his grandfather, father and later vocal from Ambika Rimal and Tabla from Pt Homnath Upadhyaya. He got a gold medal in Master's in Music Examination.
On the 47th anniversary of Lt Atul Gautam memory his disciples Parsuram Poudel, Ananta Prajapati (Tabala), Khem Raj Upreti (Flute), Ram Kumar Aryal (Sitar), Yagya Raj Adhikari (Violin) and Sujata Burma in vocal has perform Classical Music.

This is not Nepali, this is hindustani classical music. we have abundance of traditinal music & instrument and yet we chose an indian form of music to represent ourselves. This is shameful
