The whole telekinesis is in canon filler. The stand was in the manga so was the whole card thing about "reversed fool" and "card of pursuit" same with the straw sword

First episode pretty good. Second a bit too slow, especially on Hawkins drawing his cards. But still entertaining. Also MY GOD, the strawman look genuinely scary.

The game they play and the cards that are played, not only it could affect the straw hats but his own subordinates as well.
Last EP had pacing issues. They only covered like 4 or 5 pages. Hawkins went into action a lot quicker
To me the only problem is that they wasted too much time on Hawkins drawing his cards. Seeing Luffy and Zoro fighting fodders was entertaining enough.
If they went quicker they would catch up to manga and then we would have a lot of filler

Never understood why Hawkins acted like he had a big dick in this scene. Luffy had a bigger bounty pre-timeskip, plus he’s with Zoro. Yet Hawkins acts like he can take on both. It’s almost like the fear of Kaido kicking his ass made him arrogant.

Hibou I dont know if u remember but Zoro has the sandai kitetsu (Kitetsu III), and the sword that luffy borrowed was the Kitetsu II. Zoro's sword is the weakest of all Kitetsu so maybe he will get luffy's sword idk xD

34:02? Nani? No Zoro isn’t even near Mihawk, was also shown in the movie. And Mihawk cut the whole ice mountain on Marineford which was large af(the navy ships were like ants) from a freaking mile away and on top of that, it was a casual slice, that’s what it means to be the strongest swordsman without having any rival/contest.(Yes, he does not have any worthy Opponent anymore, after Shanks loosed his arm-source is the vivre card)

the tarot cards he draws has can have beneficial/detrimental effects. the first card he drew "The Reversed Fool" signifies an internal discord, and appropriately, his own crew started attacking each other. A benefit to his tarot card reading is that it has the potential to increase one's strength beyond their limits, though it's not clear which exact card it is. My personal guess is that the tarot card ability is his own magic, while his fruit is straw-related. He is able to utilize both the magic and his fruit simultaneously to do a lot of his attacks.
