Thank you for the honest review. I'm going to give this a go at conceal carrying this. I loved the regular 2.0 and fell in Love with the recoil control. The Spec OR looks even more amazing.
Thanks for the review! I own a sig p226, g27, g29, fnx 45, walther ppq m2 and most recently a M&p 2.0 compact 40. I was always a fan of their revolvers and AR’s but not so much their semi autos until the 2.0 came out. It’s is an excellent gun, especially for the money. Very accurate out of the box and has a great trigger(not quite as good as the walther tigger but still damn good). I’m definitely adding a series kit to the fam. Subscribed! 🤙🏻 Ps:you have a pretty sensitive trigger finger. Gunblast did a trig pull test with a gauge and it was exactly 3lb 8oz.
Spot on, as a dealer I just got in a Gen 5 Glock mos in with 3 mags for 586 whole sale. No threaded barrel, no optic, consider cancelling out the mag for the knife. This M&P Spec series that came with an optic I ordered for 650 wholesale. Definitely worth the money! As a dealer, I have way more room for markup, and still keep it way below MSRP. Now… I gotta see how it compare to my sig p320 xCarry with a Romeo one.
i just received this same gun and first day at the shooting range when i used the red dot it was also shooting more left so it needs to be Zero but i did run into an issue with it jamming but it could be user error on my end ill need to try different ammunition or i didnt pull the slide hard enough , Thanks for the info on the holster definitely going to get that tier 1 holster
Just picked one up today, even came with the CT red dot. I'm in love! Now for a trigger and she is gtg. These are a limited run as well so that's tight.
When I got mine, I didn't like the trigger, so I Apexed it like my M&P 1.0. After a few hundred rounds I feel this gun is awesome. Feels very natural in the hand. I usually add Talon grips, but it wasn't needed here. The CT optic works well, no problem there. Love that I can use my 1.0 mags. The FDE and black combo looks sick! I think its worth the price.
I wonder if the red dot is throwing off our aim. I just bought a performance center shield plus that came with a CT optic and the optic broke after two mags no joke. I knew it was a cheap optic but man I was surprised by my experience with it.
Now that you’ve sat with the gun for about 3months, do you still feel the same way? Local shop is trying to sell me on it but I don’t know anybody who’s shot it personally.
The holster has a string that you can unravel and detach the mag carrier. So you can wear the holster either appendix, side, small of back or whatever style of concealed carry you choose.
Yes i do. I actually see the entire slide kind of jerk left when I dry fire. I’m thinking that has to be the reason that it shoots left. I try to push the firearm to right with my support hand to try to make it shoot straight but that doesn’t work. Next time you dry fire. Try not to look at the dot. Look at the back of the slide and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.
@@rschulz021 it seems to shoot fine and mechanically don't seem any less quality than any other M&P. With that said, the gun can be found for about 750 now so it's a good value if you can sell the red got for at least 75. So at 675 it's a good value tritium sights and a threaded barrel and collector stuff. Otherwise the new compact FDE with new trigger and side serrations are about 550? Just no threaded barrel or night sights
@@z0diak08 I’ve notice this OR Spec trigger clicks before it hits the wall. My performance center 2.0 doesn’t make this click. It only does it with the slide on. Is this normal?
With the sites on that gun nice and bright I took off the CT you don't need it! In my opinion their junk! For the neck of it take it off and shoot it I bet you'll shoot way better!

Bruh, I'm a M&P fan and I'm loving that FDE slide on the black frame. $35 apex trigger shoe and you are good to go, trust me!

I got a deal for $679, I think I’m gonna bite…

Love my .45
I just ordered this gun at my gunstore Friday. Said it takes about 5 business days to ship in. I can't wait.
You’re gonna love it. Guarantee it 👌🏽
@@proud2carry I'm stoked. I own 3 other M&P's. When most others are Glock guys, I'm an M&P guy. The new 10mm is next on the list.
Cool
I just picked up a sig 320 vtac and also saw one of these like new at the store. May get that as well as it’s been there for a bit
That thang pretty bro and your grouping was TIGHT
Thanks bro I appreciate it 💯💪🏾
No doubt

Just picked this up. What do I look for when buying a holster
I am actually torn between this and the m9a4. I have ran beretta since 1988 and hate to change, but beretta's customer support sucks
Its your trigger pull sending you left.
Where can i get one ?
A little some some. 🤣
Can you drop a link for holster
A normal m&p 2.0 is a little cheaper then a Glock. Your holster was it custom? 4.6 inch barrel?
Yes it was custom from tier1concealed. Have to get the holster made for the 2.0 with the 4.5inch barrel with the option for a threaded barrel
Want to see you shoot with suppressor bro
Now that you’ve sat with the gun for about 3months, do you still feel the same way? Local shop is trying to sell me on it but I don’t know anybody who’s shot it personally.
Yes I still love it. I’m just going to swap out the trigger for an apex and call it a day.
Can you wear the holster more towards the side or does it have to be right up front?
The holster has a string that you can unravel and detach the mag carrier. So you can wear the holster either appendix, side, small of back or whatever style of concealed carry you choose.
@@proud2carry thanks dude.
