I just finished reading his memoir . I never in a million years would have thought this figure would be available amazing ! I’ll see if I can find one. Bad ass !! Spitting image ! And you’re right about the eye.
Otto had an interesting life for sure. Thanks for checking it out. Monkey depot still has some in stock. DiD did a really good job on the figure other then the right eye lol. I may pick up another sculpt.
dude, maybe that right eye got injured when he got sliced across the face with either a bayonet or fencing wound. Very few people have perfectly symmetric eyes. Don't fret homie, this headscult is up there with Jacob Grimminger. Imperfections is what makes faces unique. I got a few teeth pulled and half my face collapsed. Its not rare for people at his age to have imperfect facial symmetry. Good work as usual.
That's true. I never though of that. Imperfections do make faces unique. Over all I'm really happy with the figure. Thanks my man, I really appreciate it.
@@OTKsFIGURES Hey brother...I am half German/half Jew...I am 55 and a long time collector. Including a MG34. I have dozens of 3R and DID. Uncle Adolph and Dr. Geobles are the most valuable. I have his entire inner circle. I would love to show my collection to you. ........Gott Mit Uns.... During the Second World War, Nazi Germany's Wehrmacht soldiers wore this slogan on their belt buckles. as opposed to members of the Waffen-SS, who wore the motto Meine Ehre heißt Treue ('My honour is loyalty'). After the war, the Bundeswehr abandoned the motto Gott mit uns, but the West German police continued to use it until the 1970s. For ideological reasons, however, this motto was not used in the East German armed forces, as the Nationale Volksarmee did not shy away from Prussian military traditions.
@@kratoleaf7619 Very nice! I've been collecting DiD and 3R for 13 years now and have 60+ figures. Love it! Share away my friend. I'd like to see your collection.
Great video, OTK. Wonder why he wore a Luftwaffe uniform in the Gran Sasso raid? His eyes are a bit off. It will be a while before I get my figure set (I have to accumulate $XXX amount for free shipping) but I already have an extra body, and will check its eyes when I get home and let you know. I completely understand the problem trying to produce videos. 🤣🤣
@@OTKsFIGURES Mine finally arrived yesterday. I also got a second head/body. The eyes that came with the boxed figure is slightly off, like yours. But the second head looks okay. But what is worse is the figure set is missing the SS collar tab!
