Always use axle stands in locations stated in manual or where their might be a sturdy subframe. Getting under a vehicle elevated by scissor jacks is quite dangerous. The scissor jack the vehicle came with is designed only for lifting vehicle momentarily when changing tyres. This can save you getting squished under an Avensis
He is using proper, secure stand and not even a scissor jack, but a proper jack. Your warning as a general rule is correct. I had a scissor jack collapse without any warning when I was young - I was lucky and not under the car...
Torque specs... Oil filter cap assembly = 25 N•m Oil filter cap drainbolt = 12.5 N•m You are putting everything on too tight. Keep it up and you will be stripping threads. Oil pan drainplug is usually 40 N•m or less.
Can i have a quickly answer? What's the size of the key to remove the filter oil? Is it important to use the black key before you remove the filter totally ? Y? With best wishes
V autorizovaném mi to taky zarvali jak blázni. Garážník si strhl přípravek, tak nakonec to v autorizovaném povolili. Jaký je ten klíč? Je to 64,5 mm? Hoď link, díky.
You're using the wrong oil filter cap wrench.) The wrench you are using is for the 1.8 liter gasoline engine. It is not big enough around for the cut outs on the wrench to engage with the tabs on the filter housing. I'm surprised that you got it to work in spite of those facts. It will fit the flutes on the top of the oil filter cap which is the only reason it worked but the correct wrench would be an even better fit. You want the same wrench that works for all Toyota engines bigger than 1.8 liters including 4,6 & 8 cylinder engines.
Oh, my God, you can't see how you turn the blinds with the screwdriver. if you can't scold them, I don't believe you can change oil. the plug is released in such a way that it squeezes and is then easily removed. this is TOYOTA 🤣😉👍
Your wrench is too small. It's for the 1.8 liter engine. Even though it works the slots on the wrench do not engage with the tabs on the oil filter cap. I know there's a notch in the oil filter cap that looks like it would be for a pick or screwdriver but Toyota says not to use such tools in the instructions that come with the OEM filter. How & why to replace an o-ring without any tools. See this one minute video... m.ua-cam.com/video/a0D_vGFgLD8/v-deo.html
Incredible, sharing information is certainly commendable, but taking an example from this video is deadly. They lie down under the car, which stands on a scissor lift !!!!! Were there still a few dead ??? I will not comment on tools and equipment - oil containers :-(. You are not a professional, so it is not worth buying the right equipment, but spreading suicide instructions is too much. Regards
Probably the most informative video and he’s doing it in a foreign language…..thanks mate!
Dobra robota, wracam do tego filmu średnio raz w roku ;)

Greetings from Ireland......excellent video my friend. Very helpful, even if it is in Polish!!
This is not Polish, but Slovak. English with a Slovak accent, to be precise
Put grease on the filter threads as the engine heat tends to evaporate oil off the plastic housing.
this housing is aluminium...
Good job keep up the good work and always remember safety first😀👍
Thanks for a useful video Bro 😊
