The reason oda smacked this bot is because he fully understands what the most effective next move for the bot to make would be. And executes the most effective strategy against that instead in 1 tick. The insane movement of the bot and having to think 1 step ahead constantly and execute perfectly is why he's the best, and an x factor that makes the bot in fact imperfect

And luckily that will never happen. There’s no such thing as an AI learning script. You program it to behave a certain way, players learn that and exploit it. Biggest example of this is slapping wilderness bots with a staff, they pray mage because it’s a staff but you hit in melee. Free kill. There is no AI in existence that’ll respond to situations like that and adapt on the fly. The best you can do is program every possible situation into it, but the bot isn’t learning anything, it’s a human going in and telling it what to do. It may be possible to program in every possible situation but even then you can still counter it if you 1 tick everything. You can’t react to that, bot or otherwise, because you hit in the same tick the weapon is visible. No counter play for that All AI’s are like this. None of them are able to learn. AI’s able to learn by themself is a technology we haven’t started creating, current AI models are a completely different field of computer science.
The trick to beating these bots is just believing in your switches and trying to pray them as best you can. Just try to get them down on HP and keep the pressure on them. The moment you start thinking instead of letting yourself just go into flow state the quicker you will lose. Gotta get some solid RNG with hitting through prayer but that’s probably the best way to beat them. Just got to keep switching, putting out dmg and trying your best to pray flick to what you need. Staff bashing is likely a massive thing you have to do also since it expects the mage attack but you can get melee dmg out instead.

I believe this video is out of context. The video asmon watched referred to are cheat addons being used to win PVP fights. These addons do tick perfect things like insta swap, spec, auto dd, auto refreeze, etc. It's semi autonomous. Bots are different, since they're fully autonomous.

Now keep this up for 24hrs straight. Bots can do this essentially for infinity. On the other hand, your concentration is bound to drop. Still impressive, gotta give you that.
Theres ways to cheese bots and in a game of rng theres a chance to win. You wont be up on tracker against it but the highest level pkers can in theory win here and there against them. There are clips of oda losing to megatrons as well.

It is impressive that he managed to kill it however in a high risk scenario in the wilderness these types of scripters often wear much better gear than most are willing to risk on a consistent basis and even if you do you're at a significant disadvantage and would be a fool to fight under such conditions. Runescape PvP unfortunately due to its high risk nature of losing all your gear and the value of gold holding significant real world value it is destined to fail in the long term unless the full loot aspect is removed.

Most bot ban waves work by finding some signature sent to the games servers by the bot client. Like bot clients can directly manipulate packets to and from servers, rather than interact with mouse clicks on the game client. Finding that signature is what results in massive ban waves. It’s only really a matter of time until a new bot client gets caught by Jagex. Then the bot client developer figures out what got them caught and they change it so bots can’t be detected anymore. And then the cycle continues. Is why botting is a losing battle. It is much easier to change the client to avoid a trigger, than it is to reverse engineer the client and figure out how it works. Especially in osrs where they allow 3rd party clients like runelite and allow that packet manipulation to a degree, it gives bot makes so many more tools to use and means jagex has to be super careful otherwise they could accidentally ban every single runelite player with a single click
after people said oda can in the chat asmon back tracked and said if people of the same skill level fought the bot player will win however if the bot player is worse than the regular player the regular player will win
