Very nice and clear review bro, with lot of real time test with your tires, nice
Bom vídeo estava mesmo a pensar comprar este modelo mas estava com dúvidas acho que foram tiradas neste vídeo vou comprar decerteza abraço e que venham mais vídeos 👌
the only draw back is it does not display air pressure in PSI, only in bars.
Here’s an update: A friend of mine bought a unit and it does display now readings in psi. That’s a welcome feature!
Nice E46. Needs detailing job though :) Thanks for the review.
haha Thanks mate! Yeah, that car needs a massive detail and paint job as well.
Thanks for the support! :)
What about a fith one for the spare wheel ?
hey, which is better? (more accurate/new) this or the lite version? TIA
In America, you can still find some free places to fill up your tires. Some tire stores will fill your tires for free. Other gas stations can charge for air.
i was quite suprise about the charge for air...is it a norm in the west?
@@malayafreespirit1905 it's a norm at all the gas stations I've been to in the west.
How change the batery sensors?
Thanks for the demonstration! Admired! 👍
I bought a Xiaomi 70Mai internal sensor model TPMS.I want to know, when changing its internal sensors one day, can we buy universal sensors or do we have to buy sensors from the Xiaomi 70Mai brand itself? If you can provide a link to buy such a sensor, I would greatly appreciate it! 👍
I couldn’t find a generic / universal match for the internal sensors. Unfortunately when one dies it’s game over :(
It is free of charge in Thailand.
Have you change the battery? It's been 1 year
is the device solar powered? or needs to be hooked up to a power source inside the car?
Do you think internal sensors are more accurate than external ones? Also can you set tp to psi ? Thanks for a very useful review of a product that could potentially save lives.
That’s a good question. I never had a chance to test the 70mai external ones (lite version). I can say that these ones are close in terms of numbers :) thanks 😊
Shouldn't the front tyres have higher pressure?
Hi, great video! It's been over a year since your installation, how is it performing now?
Hi mate! Thanks!
I am still using it!! It saved my *ss a couple of times when I got some low pressure in one of the tires. It gives a peace of mind having it installed!
Great video! Is it possible to change batteries in case they die?
Hi Tiago! You mean the batteries in the sensors? I don't think you can. According to 70Mai, if you drive 2h a day, they should last for 10 year. The sensors go into sleep mode when not in use :)
@@Ryaniwk Yeah, that's what I meant. I heard you saying about this lifetime, the dubt was after that. Thank you very much!
Hi. Can you change the Unit from bar to PSi and °C to °F? I think i saw your clip showing the settings were grayed out. TYIA.
What happens if I rotate the tires? do I have to change the position of the sensors?
in romania and hungary it is for free in the gas stations to inflate a tyre...
So there are 2 versions, this one and the lite one. I prefer the lite one, it's easier to install
Anybody replace the sensor battery? Is it CR2050 or CR2032?
How long is the battery life of the sensor? Is it replaceable?
You cant replace the battery on the sensors. According to 70Mai, if you drive 2h a day, they should last for 10 years. The sensors go into sleep mode when not in use :)
No love for PSI?
i purchase last year from bangood working fine, by mistake one sensor damage, can i buy only one sensor ? can its working with old display ?
I think you can pair a new sensor with the unit. In terms of buying just one I don't think you can. I will double check that with 70mai for you.
@@Ryaniwk 70 mai sensor (without display unit) available on ali express, if i purchage one sensor its working with my display unit or not . help me how i will pairing with unit.
I never paired a new sensor, but I believe you need to do it inside the app, Bind sensor menu. Have a look here, minute 10:15. Let me know if you managed to do it :)
Any update? How is it so far?
Still perfectly fine! Never plugged into power and works everyday. Couldn't recommend this more
Cant change unit to PSI T_T
Sensor use battery? How replace battery in sensor?
Sensors do use batteries. I don’t think you can change it, unfortunately.
I’ve heard that some people did it but I’m not sure if it is totally safe :/
they have a new one now that you can install yourself
@@Ryaniwk only thing I dont understand is how to fill air when the sensor is in the way...
can the bar reading change to psi?
I have one. Unfortunately no PSI unit. Maybe in the future with the firmware update.
How about battery of the sensors?? How long does it last and how to replace??
@@chiennguyenphu7281 According to 70Mai, if you drive 2h a day, they should last for 10 year. The sensors go into sleep mode when not in use. There is no way to replace the battery inside the sensors
How to change units?
I can't believe you need to pay to pump your tyre :O
What's the name of the app? Only Dashcam shows up when I search for 70mai
is it in apple store? only showing dashcam apps only,,, what is the exact name of app?
The dashcam app is the right app apparently. When you download the dashcam app it gives option to install the tire pressure unit.
how to change from BAR to PSI ... AND .... one of the sensors are no reading automatically .. anyone would know the reasons ? or how to fix it
You cannot change to PSI unfortunately. Sometimes the sensor take a little bit more time to read when you start/move the car. Is that what is happening?
@@Ryaniwk right now everything works fine... I figured out that it takes some time to the sensors to be activated...
air needs money
Less than one year now and the sensors battery dead already for me
Free air at gas station
Thank you for watching, guys! Hope you enjoy this one! :)
