- This is video #1 (of 3) for The Throw of Grace! This highly texturized throw was inspired by one of my favorite Bible verses which has greatly comforted me during the pandemic that began in 2020. Many of us have felt limitations in so many ways, yet this promise from Psalm 16:5 & 6 has helped me to keep my life balanced: "The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance." The sections in this rectangular-shaped throw are bordered using beautifully texturized stitches, and ever changing in color, yet in an orderly fashion. Feel free to choose your favorite hues of other colors that will suit your home decor. I know that this will also look lovely in a solid color as well.

I love that your showing the number of stitches at the end of the rounds.
Except Round 24...... also need the lead in stitches for each round. The stitches leading up to the honeycomb stitches. The counts and off and normally I don't find myself frustrated with your tutorials. The honeycomb beginning and ending of row counts leaves me feeling grrr. When is the printed pattern being released?

You did not mention the stitch count for the long side of the new color 🎉😊
Absolutely beautiful. I would like to know can thos be enlarged? I would like to make a large 1.
I have frogged this 14 times already on rnd 15. Been crocheting since I was 7 and now am 54. I crochet/knit every day, and for the love of God, I come out with the correct stitch count after the low front, but on rnd 15 both the long and short sides have a different count at the end, unlike the video. I do end up with the correct amount of cables but have an extra stitch more than in the video. Even recruited my hubby to count the stitches after finishing round 14 and he gets the same as I do which is the amount in the video. Not sure what I am doing wrong?? May just frog it and move on to something else.
I'm sorry to hear that you are having an issue with this. If you have the same number of cables you should be fine moving forward. It would be easy to adjust the count a stitch or two in the following rounds.

Hi Bonnie!! I am loving this throw, it’s so beautiful. Could I ask, on the rounds (13) (19) the pattern doesn’t give a stitch count. After making these cables MANY times, I always thought the stitch count was the same as the previous round of SC made as (3) behind each cable would keep stitch counts the same?? Is this true? I’m counting stitches every round! I just don’t have counts for those ridge stitches?! Help!!🧶❤️
The stitch count does not change on the Low Back Ridge rounds.😊

I do have done question. Why did you start "squaring" this on the corners instead of keeping the 1 crochet on one side of the 2 chains and then 2 on the other side? I am not arguing with it. It looks great! I just wondered why. Inquiring minds need to know. 🤪😂🧶
Hi Marian! This was just a design decision. I actually worked this section 3 times before settling on the final choice of corners.😊
Did like this project far as the video. It was too confusing keeping up with the stitch count, I tried to do it three times and the counts came out differently everytime. I really love the design but too confusing 😕
I love the look of this afghan, and up until the honeycomb part, the pattern was flowing along as I always expect with the many tutorials I have followed to make your patterns that I love. However, the beginning and ends of the rows are inconsistent, the counts are oddly off. I have never experienced this in your tutorials. I was particularly frustrated with Row 24. There was no stitch count given, and I was eagerly waiting to check my count. Please revisit that portion of the video to double check? 🙏 Thanks 🤓

How long did it take you to make this throw?
Hard to say because the design process takes a while, but I am working on a second one and I believe it will be finished within 2 - 2 1/2 weeks. I'm estimating this is about 35-40 hours of crocheting time.
