concerning reliability, did you change any internal parts of the engine? I have an idea to make just a little of boost in order to improve torque, in sence of street driveability, not max power. any suggestion which type and capacity to use? My e24 is american model with low compression 8:1, so I suppose I dont need to change the head gasket.
My engine is almost stock, only parts changed is pistons, I have a cheap Mahle 92mm tuning piston for VW Boxers. But I think the stock pistons are probably almost as good, I changed because I did a complete restoration on the engine, and they were a lot cheaper. I have 8.3:1 compression, the combustion chamber is a little enlarged, other than that all is stock, including head gasket. @0,5 Bar of boost I get 420 Nm measured at the wheels.
It's been several years since last dynorun, but here is a old video. ua-cam.com/video/gTbK-mbqBDM/v-deo.html I had some problems with pre Ignition or knock, so I had to lower the boost pressure after that run. But now I have a new larger Intercooler, so I think I actually get more air in now, than earlier. My Bosch 044 pump, and Sachs 765 Clutch are both at the limit, not even talking about the Getrag 262/5 gearbox...
What a gorgeous car,, that idle ,, VEMS is on pair with my B10 BT,, or even better

Thanks for the reply.
Do you have any numbers of power,, WHP,, WTQ,, in NM or just crank power
