When I heard you mention that your mom had a hoarding problem when you were a kid....that struck my heart and i was holding back tears because i know exactly what that's like. My mom also had/still has the same problem and it can be a traumatic thing growing up like that...you end up keeping things very secretive because of the shame. Anyway, it's encouraging to know I wasnt the only one in that kind of environment.
@@Alesanascreamokid true, can’t comfortably invite friends or anyone without them pointing out the obvious chaos. Also, I at least never felt like my home was truly mine you know? Since I had no say in what I could move/alter etc. without anyone else becoming emotionally hurt. Just had a cluttered mind and was unmotivated constantly.
@Shriya Murmu hey no problem with that at all, hoarding can lead to lots of creativity, free spirit, and a sense of control for some people. I learned from my moms hoarding that I dont need material attachments to make me feel better about myself and that I enjoy less material stuff is actually more free-ing. Some children growing up in homes with parents that hoard although can give the opposite effect to the kid they may feel no sense of control and feel trapped and hard to express themselves and feel free. i speak mainly from me and my siblings personal experience.
It’s so special that you have a group of women you feel that way around. I wish I could find the same- I know it’s a void I’m missing. I have a beautiful life with kids and my husband but sometimes you just need girl friends that you can be 100% yourself with too.
gosh i know... I moved to Hungary last year, to the village & one night I came across centipedes in real life. i don't do well with bugs, but those suckers made me cry from terror
Listen....lol the moment she said that AND gingerly plucked it out of the rug, I instantly had a higher level of respect for Hitomi. I'm from the Caribbean so bugs are every and I've always placed them outside too, BUT centipedes get no 'appreciation'. I'm not there yet.

I'm the opposite I can acclimate to centipedes, earwigs ,spiders etc , I CANNOT do roaches. Not ever ... I love your space it's peaceful and exactly how I like my space earthy and inviting. I used to look through my garage when I was younger too! All of it was my dads tools but I liked going in there
We raised bunnies when I was younger and would let some of them loose. After a while there were tons of bunnies running around in our neighborhood 😂 🐰
