Think we camped there in mid 1970s. Seems like there was a simple pedestrian bridge over river toward ruby mountain. Seems like there was a central building that had some brochures , etc. Think it may have been KOA at that time. Neat place!
Love it! My family owned the KOA Campground in Buena Vista in the late 70's to early 80's and it was so much fun! I haven't been back in 30+ years but will get there again someday. I have visited most of the locations that you touched on. Great camera work and the clarity in picture is outstanding! Thanks for sharing!
My brothers and I had a great time there. If memory serves me correctly (it nearly never does) the campground had 105 sites and back then it was at full capacity. Made a lot of friends there and some I still keep up with to this day.
It is super fun to find the Spessartine garnets.

We had a place in Badger Creek Ranch and took this trip from there down . The dry waterfall was fun to negotiate. We loved our corner of South Park.
I always loved camping in open areas, rather then heavily wooded areas, crawl out of the tent in AM with perfect views🤩

Awesome! Most of them from the last couple years are good. Going to redo some of the early ones when we camp outside of Leadville this summer
