Y’all I am so sorry, and I want to preface this by saying I looove her… they have their individual strengths but sabrina can NOT sing, at least not at a recording artist caliber - I can see what you mean by their dynamic working nicely as a trio it definitely was a good era for them! but I will always love raven’s voice so much and what it brought to the songs, especially in CG2!! And kiely and Sabrina were obviously always the strongest dancers, their performance level mixed with both Adrienne and raven’s voices was absolute magic I must say 🥹

Honestly wished they fired kiely instead of Raven feeling like she had to quit because she was the drama. Ravens vocals were way better too but i do love this song
I think it’s because Raven wasn’t part of the actual group, she was only in the movies.
Raven didn’t just quit. She didn’t do the third movie because she was filming College Road Trip with Martin Lawrence, and the trio just kind of stuck after that

She didn’t want to be part of the group outside of the films.
Why were the lyrics adult rated? We’re cheetah girls trying to transition to the mature crowd?
I think they were. They released the tcg album because they wanted to be taken seriously as a real group. They were still signed to Hollywood records, which Disney owned so they couldn't push the limits too much but they wanted as much of a mature sound that they could have while following the rules of the record label ( no curse words or sexual lyrics, etc)
