I remember as a kid I would sit in front of My parents couch on Saturdays and watch this TV show. I thought as a child I get to see Chuck Norris every weekend. Thanks for this video DR TV 👍🏾.
I still watch it on almost every channel plays . Been a fan since 1993 as Walker was apart of the action trinity along side Nash Bridges and Martial Law on CBS.
Walker's last name was a shortened form of his Native American family name Firewalker. Also, Firewalker was the name of a 1986 comedy/action/adventure film starring Chuck Norris, the late Louis Gossett Jr. and (Flash Gordon star) Melody Anderson.
Still can't understand how this hasn't been released on Blu-ray, let alone 4K. It's been decades and everything is getting updated format releases...except this.
Yes, that morality which the show focused on is what lacks comoletely from today.s Hollywood productions. Which is one of the main reason why the American society has become the way it has become.
I remember watching this show when I was a kid. It was filmed around the dallas fort worth area i know where a lot of the locations are. I'm from there that's where I grew up.
I watched the first episode of the reboot, and realized it wasn't going to work because it lacked the grounding of the original, played to more modern drama stuff and essentially wanted to try to blame the MC for things that really weren't his fault. I do think it could have worked, if they'd built it up first - stuck to the wholesome morality grounding, and actually let you find the characters individually endearing. But no. Everyone's a prick to Walker, and Walker's made out to be a coward, who let his demons chase him away from his familial responsibilities. So I tapped out. There was a way to make it something that paid homage to the original, and perhaps built into other areas... but they weren't willing to do that. Because DEI was popular in trend at the time it came out. I do feel bad for Jared; he tried to branch into a Jason reboot that went nowhere... he tried to branch out into this (I don't know if he knows martial arts, so this was always a bit of a weird fit, but you get the point) and it failed. I mean, it's not like they couldn't have made Walker more like Reacher. They just tried way too hard to fuck the character over from the start.
I myself only WONDER WHAT EXACTLY WOULD'VE HAPPENED HAD both The characters from Renegade & Walker, Texas Ranger ACTUALLY MET EACH OTHER in a TV Movie crossover on CBS @BigMob05.
I am excited that UA-cam recommended this video.
Still watch it!! Never gets old.
I always like this series, best action on tv for me,we need way more shows like this.

Amazing trent malloy and carlos sandoval...😍😍😍
Walker was born in a log cabin he built with his own two hands…
I watched up until they added the other 3 uneeded characters
The reboot was awful!
And yes, the OG show was corny, but that was what made it so charming.

They tried to reboot it 😯
@johnnycotton3217 uhm, yeah...
@@Inevitable_Truth1 I had no clue
@johnnycotton3217 don't worry, you didn't miss out on much. It's a bad mis-idealized reboot that didn't go for too long.
Conan obrien walker texas ranger level
Those tv movies were rather awful as I recall.
