He didn't write his own lines. He is credited only as a voice actor and not as a writer. There is no way that if he was a writer that he would not be credited as such.

Dude was a vulgar genius. Not too vulgar. In an old timey way. He crossed the line many times. The fact that he could act so stupid was what covered his ass. If Sandler ir Spade said HALF of what Norm said, theyd lose their careers. Norm was different. He made stupid so genuine.. he made the act seem genuine. The man was extremely smart. So smart he self admittedly masked it on stage.
He deserves more credit than he receives. And he reciebes a ton now that hes gone. Still.. its not enough. Hes an original. Like Pryor, Saget, Carlin, and Kinnison. I know everyone says it, but watch Weekend Update. Its gold.
But in my opinion.. watch this. This is Norm unchained right here.
