- During my last playthrough with tuner cars, I was lucky enough to win car pinkslips from all of the original bosses. Therefore I thought I'd try to overtake them in their own cars as the ultimate humiliation. I have to say this one was difficult. While Wolf was relatively easy to beat then Kenji and Angie both took over an hour to beat and I think Angie's car is quite literally the worst car in the game.

It's actually not that difficult to beat darius in his supra at all actually! I do that a lot with a stock supra too.

It's called adding soap to a cut wound, adding petrol or oil to a fire or maybe insulting them even more but one things for sure, their internal dialogue is "You dare use my own Spells against me, Potter?" or "You dare use my own cars against me, Hero?"
I call this, legendary humiliation against your opponents who once had those old cars now against them, you can see the nostalgia and in a certain way sadness that they still bring.
This was my first time seeing this. When you overtook that Murcielago with the Aston Martin and the win screen popped up? I was NOT expecting, "Nobody Wins". XD

1:55 i might disagree on that cause i can say proudly that it is possible to defeat darius in that and can be used until a good portion of the 4th stage, until corvette opponents come in.

Corvette opponents also didn't gave me a lot of challenges. I still have to defeat Darius with Kenji's RX7, but it was a total pushover with Angie's Charger, while it was a borderline nightmare with Wolf's Db9

Same, although the charger take sometime to master it but it is a solid car with great top speed and acceleration, its slidy but that makes its the charger we all know
It was a boat, but the right tune for it and i was sliding round every turn at the right angle to keep speed

I completed the game with that car soon as I could, and with that car alone finished the rest of the game

1:45 wait what???? Angie's charger OP I defeates Darius with that, and it's not i have the skill to do it with a stock Rx8, and it was SO MUCH EASIER than Wolf's DB9

I did that and beat all of them in their own cars, including Darius with his blue Supra, and it was so damn satisfying, it was hard not to have a shit eating grin.
Shame there's no hidden dialogues when you use their own cars against them. Then again, I don't think any racing games had this kind of hidden detail.
I wasn't gonna comment until I saw you say that the charger was the worst car in the game when to me it was 1 of the best sure there were faster 1s but overall it was one of the best ones to me I beat most of the game with Angie's charger until I got to Darius
Amazing video overall but the Dodge charger is not a bad car my older brother hated when I picked that car, if was my bread and butter and I never lost a race. If you know how to control the over steer the muscle cars can take down any other car.

@Fedor Silva I guess you had to steer early and brake/drift late to slide
@Fedor Silva I've been playing with it with stock parts (except nitrous) and it drives quite well for me. The way I drive it is I use breaks before or during a turn and quickly hit the gas again. I find that if you simply let go off the gas before a turn you barely have any steering capacity, and if you break for a sec and then let go of the brakes without immediately accelerating you lose too much speed.
aston martin db9 deserves to be in 3rd tier, i still remember how it was hard to defeat ronnie in MW

As soon as I could I bought the 1969 charger and completed the rest of the game with that alone , all the bosses and the very last race beating Darius 😎 . No matter how impossible yes things unexpected can and do happen, so never assume based upon looks only

Actually id did the whole game with wolf's aston martin except the angie canyon duel i used kenji's car for the easy win...

yeah i didn't understand why he said that either, in tier 2 areas it's absolutely dominating and if it wasn't for the lotus elise it'd be the best tier 2 car imo just cause of how ridiculously fast it is compared to the other tier 2 cars - and driving with its wacky handling is actually a challenge and it can be quite fun drifting everywhere
It’s not stupid. The handling is the worst thing about it. Way worse than other Tier 2 muscles. The Mustang is better.

1:45 Is it me, or is the angle of this car off relative to the camera?
Hmm, yeah. Seems like a small offset to the left. It is maybe something similar but I find it extremely frustrating in the canyons how the camera sometimes shifts low and to the side when you are close to the destructible barriers. It makes it significantly more difficult to point your car in the right direction accurately.

@@elvishendrix676 I only play in far cam and it still happens when you get near the barriers. I hate hood/dash cam, but I have to use it for canyons most of time times because I like driving close to the edge

@@elvishendrix676 It’s the game doing that, no matter what chase cam you go with. Experience that and you’ll see what we mean when you get close to the barriers.
First of all, yeah it is the worst car if you don't tune it correctly, and second, why does it sound like the upgrades weren't changed?

Yeah absolutely! I actually am in a middle of an exotic playthrough just now but I haven’t had a chance to finish it yet.
I recently beat the game with stock exotic cars (brera, db9, slr) Managed to overtake only on second Anjie

I've beaten the game several times with the charger. Its top 5 for me.
At least the charger had tier 3 esq accel to smoke the bosses in t2 the Gt500 is probably the worst car it barely being quicker vs the charger despite the higher tier beating Darius w that was a headache

Yeah, yeah, yeah. The car is fine. But the driver not. I beat the game with Angie's car and unlocked the achivement "Reach 1M$ during carrer" that's not necessary to tune this car up to win any race. And everything happened 15 years ago. How time flies

The charger might by bad, but Shelby GT500 R/T’s body roll SUCKS. That car wants to tip over at every opportunity. I feel like I can’t push the car how it wants to without rolling over.
Tell that to the Hemi Cuda, that car I think is the worst in this game. I did defeat Darius with the GT500 and it wasn’t even that hard once I was better at the game. The Hemi Cuda’s body is worse than the GT500’s body, no joke. Took me many tries with that thing to defeat Darius with. Fuck that car.

1:45 there is not a bad car just a bad driver. And btw you forgot Darius he has 2 cars jaguar xk and toyota supra.There are a few people that know that Darius has a jaguar xk it can be seen in the ending cutscene that he leaves whit another car well that car is the jaguar xk.
