People keep forgetting that Nolan isn't a human. They think he's just Homelander 2.0. Not a being from across the universe that's lived for thousands of years and was only ever taught that his species is superior to all others. You're not supposed to forgive him, but you are supposed to see that what happened on Earth changed him.
It's such a great parallel to see Nolan genuinely care about the Thraxans considering they have a lifespan of a single year. Remember how Nolan's argument towards killing humanity was "Now or in fifty years, what difference does it make?" He thought of them like fragile insects that didn't matter. Yet here he is caring about a species that fit those descriptions perfectly
I love the panel of him doing the "why do I care?" monologue; His expression looks nuts and it's almost like half of his face is trying to suppress his emotions
Bug mom will only live a year, but Nolan's son is a Viltrumite. He ages quicker than a human but he will still live centuries assuming no one kills him.
@@RandyoftheDIf you could, I dunno, let people who’ve never read the comics enjoy the show and be surprised by what happens without you spoiling it, that’d be GREAT!
Those where Korean love ducks.. they are a symbol of love and fidelity in a marriage... they should face each other..so Debbie turning them away from each other.. is signifies.. the end of the marriage
The idiom joke is one of my faves in the series, andressa saying “hand over feet” was so funny to me cause of course she doesn’t know what that means, she learned it from an alien who had a rough grasp of idioms to begin with.
I don't understand... Why do people find those ducks so weird? Even before the comments mentioned them and their real world context, the symbolism of them is really freaking easy to grasp. Also I get that Omni-Man is a very bad guy... but imagine the idea that a super-soldier was raised to kill and conquer.... which he did... again and again and again...and then a tiny little sliver of his life changed him. It is not an excuse at all, but in the context of the story, it is REALLY monumental! Describing it as just "weird" is kind of a disservice to the story. Grasping the progress is not endorsing all the other parts in any way. Yeah he was really shitty to not understand how replacing his Earth family, would not be devastating... but understanding that he is going against his other "thousands" of years of life is also important.
The point of Omni-Man requesting Mark's help was because he genuinely wanted his newborn child, wife and all the Thraxan's safe and begged Mark to help him, because he'd be the only one he knew that was strong enough to do so.
he conquer worlds for thousands of years doing the same motion over and over again on earth mark was what made it different and what changed nolan´s point of view, he is an alien after all and the thraxans are a analogy for how a viltrumite would see a human wich is hard to miss
you should really know that he told thraxans the truth about what happened on earth, and they wanted him to be their emperor no matter what, because they have a tradition that someone who lives longer must be the ruler
I can't help but notice that General Krieg has the same exact voice as the Rick and Morty character Risotto Groupon, when Rick took Jerry to the immortality restaurant 🤣🤣🤣
@@Anubisblack Right, I thought it was Clancy Brown I'm just saying everytime I hear Krieg I can't help but hear Groupon giving his evil speech to Jerry about walking in with Rick and then walking out without him to continue his vagina fantasies
Holy shit. It just clicked in my head. If Cecil is the Nick Fury in this show, then Donald is the Agent Coulson. Spoilers he died in Avengers 1 and was brought back to life in Agents of SHIELD. I wonder if by the same means tho. Cause AoS had a fckd up way of reviving Coulson.
Why no one believe to Nolan? We believe Dart Vader, Severus Snape, Lanniseter, even Loki is favourite one. I didn't read comics, but what I saw in this show is that Nolan was raised as Typical Viltrumite and earth was his first planet to conquer. It is hard to go against literally everything in you and sometime you learn only on mistakes - it is humans part.

This episode currently sits directly before someone's "Easy Crochet Dog or Cat Sweater" in the playlist.

However, a certain grand regent took a great disliking to that fact

Just found this channel and decided to watch this playlist. Sad it ends here right now.

You've gotta finish this show come on y'all
You guys gotta react to the rest of the season, final episode imo was even better than final episode of season one
Are you guys ever going to do the rest of season 2??
you should really know that he told thraxans the truth about what happened on earth, and they wanted him to be their emperor no matter what, because they have a tradition that someone who lives longer must be the ruler
Guys you need to finish the season please
YOU say it's great timing Cody, but I'm still salty we had a *4-month* mid-season break after this. 😭
please react to the rest of the season!!!!

He’s also Mr Krabs from Sponge Bob

Funny enough he also plays Damien darkblood* from season 1
Need to point this out, in the comic, those bug aliens are thicc, so i see why nolan has another kid lol.
Nah animated they just look like humanoid bugs. In the comics tho….. both thraxans and the fish people had no right being so thicc

Tahiti, is a magical place.
They really blurred an animation stab wound 😂
You guys got to see some of the mortal Kombat finishers for Omni man.
He's in mortal Kombat 1 The brand new one
The rest is coming March 14!
Guys. Love your reactions. Please react to the new episodes. The last 4 episodes of season 2 just finished and I like your reactions.
Are we getting the rest of season 2???
It bothers me so much that Kregg is specifically pronounced Krieg.
Rest of season 2 when
Nolan go that buggusy.

As a dearth Vader and Omni man fan they don’t want to believe he changed because of their short sidedness
Weird that neither of you managed to quite get the spelling on that right 😅
Aw there is no more chucky and invincible for months this sucks
They should have released the whole season in sequence, week to week without a break. Otherwise the show loses momentum and we lose interest.
Watch the umbrella academy series❤☂️
You gotta react to the umbrella academy🔥🔥🔥

Yall act so condescending towards the characters in their actions why even watch the show 😂

Man, auto play to the next episode done me up like a kipper 😂
