Honestly I don't understand why people feel bad for John Sherman.. Personally, I think he's a nice guy and doesn't deserve all the things that are said about him but the way they did the stadium vote was very shady and irresponsible towards the public. Maybe I would feel worse for him if they would have tried harder to put forward a good stadium plan for Kansas City..

That's because they are intentionally not doing their jobs, to make the Mayor look bad. And you journalist are falling for it. I suspect that KCMO police are derelict in their duty to protect and serve,....SIMPLY BECAUSE KANSAS CITY'S BLACK MAYOR ATTEMPTED TO BRING THEM UNDER THE CITY'S UMBRELLA. He picked this "local control" fight with Jeff City when he came in office; and they've been punishing the citizens of Kansas City for it ever since, BY PURPOSELY NOT DOING THEIR JOBS. This is not on the Mayor. Simply hire locals who care about us city folk. Simply move half of the force to the times when crime is done (i.e., the night shift), and you will see NO MORE PROPERTY CRIME. Go after the thriving online market place owners that sell the stolen goods (i.e., free inventory), and flip the foot soldiers. It is easy to fix, if there's a will. These are my own thoughts.
