I finally purchased a Nintendo Switch Lite after wanting it since last year!
I got my first game console 12 years-ish ago, a Nintendo DS lite! It was so special because I remember my dad bought it for me, and it was my first 'gadget'. Now that I can get it myself, it somehow felt special too... So, I decided to make an unboxing video to remember it! 💚🎮

i got mine second hand for £130 in Mint Condition not Scratch on it anywhere and no Joycon Drift an Absaloute Bargain Love it and Cant wait to Play Pokémon on it mine is Grey and it came with a free Case to Protect it

I have the turquoise colored switch lite and I love it a lot. I got mine in 2020 during the pandemic. It was the last nintendo switch on the shelf as like I said, the pandemic was going on. I decorated mine with a pink snap on case with white flowers, two unicorn stickers, a decodent dust plug(but the frosting bit fell off), and two white thumb grips with pink flowers. To match my switch, I have a wireless pro-controller from Mytrix that is sakura themed with thumb grips to match the ones on my switch.
When I play in tabletop mode, I use a turqiouse dock that has a folding stand. It has a sticker with Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Wario on the back.
Personally I just love switch unboxing videos.

congrats on the new switch!! i was debating on buying the lite or regular but i eventually decided on the regular (and fortunately able to get the ACNH edition). i’ve been watching switch lite unboxings cause they look soooo pretty 😭 i kinda (only a lil bit tho) regret not choosing the lites 🥺
Thank you so much! I think the regular one is great cause it can connect to the bigger screens, I chose the lite because the regular one is double the price 😭 plus, I actually watched a bunch of ANCH edition on the regular switch when it first came out and it's so pretty! 🤗

(0:01) I didn't think Nintendo of Europe would catch wind of people buying Switch Lite consoles primarily to play AC:NH, so they include an eShop copy with some of them. Wow.
(This was before I realised you live in Indonesia, which I think is covered by what I call the MESA (Middle East and Southeast Asia) system region, that the shop you bought your console from likely imported one meant for some European or Scandinavian country, and that the download code card was probably removed. If you were to redeem it, I think the code wouldn't be region-locked so you could create a Nintendo account for UK or Australia)
Also, I can kinda relate to your description, because before my regular launch model grey Switch, I had a black DSi, but being that I lived in Singapore, the MESA system region I mentioned provided customers with North American consoles and games, so I couldn't access the DSi Shop for Australia, and instead had to access the shop for Canada.
I actually like the blue edition more than turquoise

iam planning to buy the lite or regular but this contents made me want to buy the switch lite :)
I love the idea of having both haha! But I chose the lite because it's so much cheaper plus I don't own a TV or bigger screens to connect the regular one :"D (plus I love the lite choice of colors!)

Hello! I have a question. I just bought a switch, same as you with the code for 3 months membership and Animal Crossing. The card with the code is exactly the same one as yours, but the code is longer than 16 characters. It's 17 and I don't know how to redeem it as it's too long and I have no clue where a different code would be. I mean, there is only one card with a code, the red one, with 17-digit code on it and obviously the manual. How did you do that?

Hi, I also been wanting the Switch Lite for about 1-2 years. I been trying to save up my pay to get to a level where I am comfortable spending it. I am a bit concerned about the famous Joycon drift. Did you have any experience with it so far? How worried should I be?
That’s the main reason not to buy the lite in all honesty… compare to the switch v2 and the oled it at least has detachable joycons so that you can just replace that without having to replace the whole console… and yes even if you’re careful it will eventually happen (don’t know when cause it’s not specific) it’s just so many people have that problem and it can be annoying… for me spend a few more bucks on the normal switch
I currently is thinking of buying one on Kijiji, I have see a lot of good deals. I was planning on having a turquoise lite but none of the sellers has respond yet a seller with a grey lite did. Should I wait for the reply from the turquoise lite sellers? Or just get the grey and put some cover case on to look better
I saw some other youtubers are putting skin with really cute prints on their NS/NSL, I think you can get the grey one if you can also find some cute skins or cases :D

Wow no offense but you can buy an og used nintendo switich instead of the lite
other than the budget, I also don't own a TV that'll make the switch experience more fun, so might as well just get a purposely hand-held console :D and none taken, I appreciate the suggestion!
You'll never get an original switch for a lower price than the release price because they are such expensive consoles and since the switch is a very popular console nobody is going to give up their console.
The only way you would find a Original switch for a low price and even being resold is if there is something wrong with the console and the seller is trying to get rid of it and make money with the damaged console. Nintendo Refurbs consoles but they don't resell used consoles to people , they only fix already owned systems and then send the repaired console back to the customer that sent it for repairs.
I still really like the vid but i think you could have gotten more views if you did animal crossing but i can see where you wouldn't want to

I got the switch with an animal crossing edition box from the store however I didn't get the animal crossing game itself, I bought the stardew valley game instead as I've shown in the video :)
