90s Japanese sedans were amazing. The Accord, Camry, Maxima, Legacy, Galant, 626, Diamante. The luxury ones the 929, Legend, LS400, Q45. This car aged like fine wine, and are still running strong in 2023.
Awesome car. I had a 91' similar to yours, only in White w/Blue interior & it was SUCH an amazing car. A school bus driver ran a stop sign, plowed into it "head-on", it totaled the car & I walked away safely without even a scratch. :-) After the accident I bought a 2000 Honda Accord EX V6 Sedan & a few others as well. Nearly 21 years later, my Honda Accord is still my daily driver, it has over 350,000 miles on the car, it still has the original engine, still has the original transmission & it looks like I just drove it out of the showroom. :-)
Wow an EX stock with a stick that’s so rare. Lol I keep it stock with good tires and an intake. I love old school Honda gauges. So easy to read, look good gets the job done. My buddy in HS had a mint gold Special Edition accord sedan. Had tan leather and bose sound system. Was a nice car. Had the oem spoiler with the third brake light.
I had the same model in HS. Champaign paint, tan leather, factory spoiler, black dash. was kinda baller 22 years ago. Even had the sweet 1990's car phone.
My '92 EX 4-door (white/blue) was the best car I ever owned. It was totaled with only 120k miles on it. My sister had a '91 DX 4-door that was still going strong well after 300k. My dad still has his '93 EX 4-door at 340k+. His is the only automatic and the transmission is the only thing that's been replaced. AMAZING cars.
This car brings back so many memories when I was a kid. Born in ‘99 my aunt owned one since brand new and had it in our family for 23 years. I miss that car so much. So sad that they don’t make cars like this anymore. Definitely Honda over everything else. This car inspired my love for Honda’s ❤️
My Dad brought me a 6 year old 1994 Accord in Silver in top condition not a mark on it. I looked after it very well. At approx 70k the ingniter inside the distributer failed which cause engine to cut out. £80 for the part and 15 mins to fit. I Drove it for approx 9 years. The only major problem i had was the head gasket which would pressurise the cooling system and caused temperature to increase. The garage I took it to replaced the head gasket and said they also re- skimmed the head. A day or so later had the same problem so took it back to the garage, they said it could be the engine block possibly warped but they would have to charge me again to have it removed and checked! They advised it could be a costly job to have it re-skimmed, another alternative was to have a slightly thicker head gasket fitted. So I paid again to have this done! Whilst in the garage they caused damage to my bonnet, there a big dent that protruded outwards. It's like they left a spanner🔧 or something on the engine and when they closed the bonnet it caused this damage, at first they said it was already like this but then offered to pay for the repair! I got it back home when i noticed what appeared to be speckles of yellow primer paint all over one side of the car, which took me a few hours to remove it all. Not impressed. When I started the car the next day still on the driveway to my horror I noticed engine coolant gushing out and onto the floor! I phoned the garage and they said they would have to take it back into the garage! It didn't have any faith in this garage 🐄🤠 so I had a look at it myself... The water was leaking from behind the engine a large metal pipe that connect to the water pump. I carefully removed it and noticed that a wrong flat rubber seal was fitted and that the metal work in this pipe around this seal was also badly bent and damaged, it appeared they damaged this and did a 'bodge job" by fitting a wrong flimsy seal that didn't even fit properly! I ordered a complete new meta pipe from honda Came with proper O-rings for £35. Fitted it filled it up again bleed the air out of system and it never leaked again ! When I talked to my neighbour about this bad garage I was horrified when he said they squashed the roof on his van after they jacked it up on a lift so high they damaged it. 😱 I sold the car for £750 when it was 15 years old still spotless inside and out everything still worked even air conditioning. The guy that bought it was so impressed he gave me the full asking price. Now honda is in my blood.
my mom had the 1992 honda accord lx in red/maroon... it was so base.... loved that car... wished she kept it until I was old enough to drive but I think she only drove it for five years.... the lines and simplicity of design on these things is just fabulous... the teal green colour was also ace.... with a beige interior... you look at them and you just want to look at them more...
I love my daily driver 1991 se the 1990’s were the first year they put fuel injectors because the years prior to this used a carburetor and the first year for the accord that they got rid of the flip up headlights because there was a lot of concerns and complaints about when the motor in those headlights would die so good on Honda for listening to there customer base ❤❤❤ love them
My 2nd car in high school was an 84 white LX. Loved it, so upgraded to a blue 86 LX. After college, I traded it in on a 91 Maxima, which still runs like new. I picked up an 89 LXi on eBay 2 years ago, and it too runs with no problems. Also have a 2008 TL which really gives out Accord vibes. Love your model!
Believe it or not I was born into a honda family. I remember the nostalgia of this very era. i remember when my dad had this very vehicle brand new and his was this very faint black ⚫ color it smelt brand new . As you can still see in the profile a sharp honda still runs in the family. The commentary on this video is amazing.
Whenever I see any early 90s Japanese cars around Tempe, they always get my attention. Loving this Accord and it's reminding me of my 1989 Mazda 323 that had a hand crank moon roof! : )
Easy to buy but tough to get rid of . Welcome to the CB7 family you got a rare one take care of it and watch out for the aftermarket junk replacement parts.
First car I learned to drive on, and learned stick on. Let mine go wanting something newer, and have regretted it ever since. Looking to buy another, a fantastic car and as you guys said an oddity for the era
I loved my "91 LX. But I lived in the Northeast, and she rusted out from underneath. I would buy another one if I can find it. Probably have to travel southwest.
i love the nostalgia these cars bring to people, lol they always have a story about how their mom had one or they had one back in the day & went to a blockbuster to pick up movies blah blah. Thats why I own a 91 Prelude somehow i can feel happiness when driving it & every button has a story to tell...
I bought my self a honda accord 1990 lx stock my interior is blue it has has 200000 miles on it and still running strong ..... i just have speakers in it
@@ryanm.3681 same man i recently junked my honda 1990 honda accord at 300000 miles now i have honda accord 1991 ex with 155000 miles on it honda accords are really iconic
I love these!! I recently purchased a one owner 1990 Honda Accord sedan EX with 80,000/automatic for $1,200. I need to buy new tires and put an exhaust system. I have no clue what it takes. I can say it’s the best I’ve ever had as far as mpg’s. The car sips gas like mosquitoes to blood. Any help is appreciated.
Hey queen! Hahaha love your CB7. I have a 1990 EX Accord sedan with an automatic transmission, a 1992 Accord sedan and coupe both with manual transmissions!
I miss my older cb.. I over heated it right outside my job at wet m wild... I flipped the hood open and poured the rest of my Gatorade (yellow) into the rad... Car ran fine I went to work and didn't even warp head
My first car was a 97 Accord 5 speed, and I went on to own three more as I transitioned (into adulthood). I totally get the emotional appeal; there's a purity to these cars that left you wishing that non-car-related decisions in life could be so obvious and rewarding. Also: All. THAT. BURGUNDY. Cover me in it.
Hey,I was just given a 93 honda accord wagon and it in pretty good condision. The car has 265k on it and it has no sigh of stoping, there are no dashlights not the onlt thing that does not work on it is the A/C and the brakes needs to be done
I sold my 90 ex coupe and I miss it... Sold it with 309k and badtz maru on the windshield... Then my phone blew up and I found out the kid that bought blew the motor and junked it

@Jacob A. Jones Really? Huh I didn't know that, well thanks for the clarification! Still doesn't explain why I can't find any A6's..
only 250??? that was babied.
f22a4 came in all but the EX model
